Stove fitted fine by Paul a couple of years ago, but in the last few weeks we've had a really unsatisfactory experience in terms of arranging a service and sweep. Not sure if the place has change hands, but the gentlemen that we have tried to deal with recently has turned up at the wrong house, tried to arrive at an unagreed time, and then, two days before the service / sweep was due to take place, sent an email advising that they weren't doing any more sweeps due to being too busy with installs. All very shoddy. The fitting etc. may still be good I guess - problem is that the only person that you can (occasionally) get hold of is utterly unreliable. Try it yourself, maybe you'll be lucky - maybe we've just been hugely unlucky with the guy we've been 'corresponding' with. WP

Paul fitted a wood/coal burner for me last year. Fantastic job done. Not only were they friendly, helpful and hardworking but matched the price of a stove I found online to save on costs. Well worth the investment

I had a Westfire one stove installed and was really pleased with it.... until I had it swept. The sweep found that the installation around the roof was of a very poor quality and as a result, invalidated the guarantee on the flue liner. I would never have seen this had the sweep not advised me that this had happened with previous installations with this company. I tried to get them to fix the issues with the installation but they refused to. Bad installation, terrible aftercare.

This is the place you MUST get your stove from and I can say that without any doubt and not a moments hesitation. I am new to wood burning stoves and so, let's just say I had a lot of questions! I have been thinking about getting a fire/stove for a number of years now but hadn’t found either the product or company that would give me the level of service I was looking for. I then found The Stove Gallery. You are in safe hands with the team, from the second you enter the showroom to the site survey to the help you get selecting your stove and it's location to the installation and let's not forget (as plenty of places do) the after sales service. If it helps to know I brought a Westfire 26 and it sits on a beautiful slate teardrop. Get yourself over to Prestwich; Get yourself a stove.
