Me and my partner bought a house together September last year and had all carpets and blinds fitted throughout with Carpet Splendour. The quality of the blinds and carpets are luxurious and could not be any happier with the outcome. We will definitely be using this business for carpets and blinds in the near future. Mike was absolutely lovely and helped me choose a really nice carpet for my son's room. Chris, the fitter, was very nice and did a lovely job. I will definitely be using Carpet Splendour again for the quality of carpet, fitting and excellent customer service, highly recommended.
For a number of years we have used Carpet Splendour, of Prestwich, for all our varied flooring needs. On all occasions the proprietor, Mike, has been courteous and helpful. He has always kept appointments and his carpet fitter, Chris, has always done a good job. We have no hesitation in recommending Carpet Slendour.
Superb experiences. We have used Carpet Splendour 3 times over the past 5 years for different carpets and vinyl and every time they have exceeded our expectations. They're quotes have been competitive and never increased on final bill, the variety of choices has been excellent, customer service second to none and installations brilliant quality. Would highly recommend-wins hands down over carpetright on all levels. We should support our local high street retailers more.
Mike at Carpet Splendour and Chris one of his carpet fitters have just completed a wonderful piece of work for us. We've had lino fitted in the new bathroom and kitchen and carpet throughout the dining room, lounge, hall stairs and lading now one open plan area. Throughout the process nothing was too much trouble for either of them and their knowledge and experience helped us enormously. They bent over backwards to work around other tradesmen who kept moving the goal posts so that the carpet was laid before our furniture returned from storage. We'd certainly recommend Mike and Chris to anyone looking for new floor coverings.
Customers would benefit from a website giving details on opening times, and the shop having an answer phone Several carpets chosen, Mike was able to come out same week to measure up. He made me aware where patterns might not align eg bends in stairs. A quick call to confirm price and carpets ordered. They were available within a week but as I was decorating Carpet Splendor held them. Booked the fitting and they arrived on time about 10:30. Initially thought it might take 2 days, the guys Chris / Tom worked with only a short break competing everything in a day. Stripes are lined up and everything is nicely fitted to edges I'm very pleased and happy to recommend shop and service
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I have used Carpet Splendour for over 5 years and had a good business/customer relationship. All the carpets and blinds in my home are from Carpet Splendour and I have also recommended them to numerous people. I purchased a new carpet for my hall, stairs, landing, den and 2 bedrooms May 2018 I called in January to say the carpets had gone flat, After being given the runaround for several months Mike eventually sent the manufacturer out and apparently the fact that the carpet went completely flat was NORMAL, a fact he failed to mention would happen when we bought it. After several conversations Mike agreed without prejudice to replace the carpets if I paid the extra to upgrade to a different carpet which I agreed to and he ordered the carpet. He stated that I was such a good customer he wanted to do the right thing but never accepted responsibility. The agreed date for fitting was 4th July so I called on Tuesday 2nd to check this was still on and was told the carpet hadn’t arrived and he would call me on Monday as I also had 10th July booked. I rang on 8th July and left a message and this morning 9th July got a message left on my phone saying that he wouldn’t be fitting any carpets and the carpets have now been cancelled. WE have now been led on for 6 months and even though Mike agreed to all the above decided to change his mind and whats more had absolutely no remorse. You really do find out how good or bad a company is when you have a problem and based on my experience with Carpet Splendour I would not recommend anyone to use them.
Superb service. Needed a carpet on a particular day as I was decorating and having furniture delivered. Unlike carpetright or rather wrong Mike was extremely helpful and guaranteed delivery. It came at the right time, was expertly fitted and looks fabulous. Great price too! Will definitely buy from here again.
If you need good quality carpets and flooring and all round great service at competitive prices i would highly recommend. Had our whole house done. Looks amazing. Thanks Mike and to Chris the fitter. Top job
Had vinyl and carpet fitted in my hall. Chris the fitter was very professional and Mike in the shop gave us great advice about which carpet to get . I would definitely recommend anyone to shop local
