Fantastic model shop to visit. I am a regular visitor for building and maintaining my model railway. They have Super friendly Staff! Your made to feel welcome, offered tea or coffee on arrival. Great range of quality stock on the shelves, and staff have incredible knowledge. They will order you items in if not in the shop. Excellent web facility. A no rush pleasant experience on all of my visits 5 star + rating. Steve
Great model shop. Has a lot of unique items.Welcoming atmosphere, always willing to help. Staff very helpful and very knowledgeable about all sorts of things. Offered a cup of cuppa every time I have been. Well worth a visit.
WOW! What a fantastic old school style model shop, anything your into they'll most likely have it. Real nice condition models and very fair prices! To top it off, Jim and Colin are a pair of absolute gentlemen and they deserve everything good in this world. THANKS GUYS!!!
This is a great place to have a browse and purchase any model railway stuff. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I purchased a loco from their stall at the ELR diesel gala and found that it wouldn't run properly when I got it home, I phoned the shop and they couldn't have been more helpful and apologetic. I've been up to the shop today and they exchanged the loco without hesitation. I will be returning to have a good browse when I don't have the other half with me!
This model shop is a rare thing, nothing is a problem and very helpful. I recently bought 10 2nd hand HTA wagons, all in good condition, well packed and at a good price. It was a pleasure to deal with Jim, whom I hope is taking the calm down tablets?
A fantastic model shop, brought in a few trains for repairs and Jim and Chris managed to fix every engine for me. Got lots of great stock to add to your model collection. Always look forward to visiting! Couldn’t recommend enough. Thanks Guys
Went here for the first time yesterday absolutely amazing. Aladins cave for Railway Modelling. Jim and Paul are both really helpful and even got a cup of tea or a brew as it's commonly known in the North. Will definitely be going again and can recommend
Called in locoshed for the first time ,if your just getting into model trains ect this is the place to visit goldmine of a shop. Jim's a really friendly bloke and very helpful with is assistant paul they make a great team, cannot recommend enough cheers guys.
Went to this shop for first time a few weeks ago. We found it to be an amazing hidden jewel. I bought a class 37 second hand train in excellent condition for a fantastic price as well as some rare intercity mail carriages . Shop staff were friendly, helpful and offered really exquisite advice. Highly recommend!!!
