Was here for the pride march, pond area was lovely, don’t really know what it’s like during the day, but it looked nice for a walk Dog-friendliness: Dogs welcome
Not even cutted grass ,litters devasted by young junkies ,everything looks very very like Soviet time very old not painted, like In Chernobyl. 1/10
A peaceful and interestingly designed Park next to the River Clyde. A favourite location as a kid back when the waterfall and pond was thriving and frogs where living in the pond
Lovely local park but needs a bit of improvement. A lot of overgrown bits. I believe they are doing rodent control as well but something to be cautious of entrance bit that's fenced off
I have parked beside this park more times than I can remember but today being at a loose end decided to go in for a walk.. It had been MANY years since the last time I had been actually in the park during the garden festival in 88 I still have some fairly vivid memories of it back then but it is an extremely different looking place now. All but impossible to mark where the pond and water feature were,it has become very overgrown and unloved looking. Skips worth of rubbish are littered everywhere and not even a single mention of its glory days from years ago.. Very sad to see,in my opinion
A very charming park. Lots of well trodden wooded areas and little hidden places you can explore, two lovely ponds, and a river, as well as two decent kids play areas. It’s honestly hard to review this one. Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve always found a certain charm in this park that has distinguished it from any other. Not my favourite, but very, very charming.
3 and a half stars during the day 4 star at night , yous all get it
Plenty to see, lovely to look at. Good museum showing the 20th century history of Glasgow.
A great place to visit in the centre of Glasgow Playground: Lots of equipment for children to play on Dog-friendliness: Lots of local dogs enjoying themselves Picnic area: Lots of open green areas
The park is relatively hidden from the roads, so it doesn't feel particularly safe. Thankfully, I've never had any trouble here, but there is always that lingering feeling that it's somewhat secluded. It would be nice if it was opened up a lot more, perhaps linking to The Village Hotel so that it it used more.
