Nice park to wander round with lots of trees & a hill in the middle but the maze & the play areas are pretty tired. Half the stuff is broken & some is fenced off. Shame because with that stuff fixed it’d be a great park.
Came here to see Green Day on Tuesday. A well organised event with lots of vendors and facilities. The sound was amazing too!! If I'm being fussy it could have done with a few more toilets and a better planned exit strategy for when the gig finished as there was a huge human traffic jam of people trying to exit the park at the end with queues everywhere. But an overall great experience.
Bella Houston Park in Glasgow is a sprawling green space that offers a great blend of outdoor activities, historical charm, and scenic beauty. Whether you're looking for a peaceful walk, a family outing, or a place to engage in sports, this park delivers. The wide open fields are perfect for picnics, games, or just relaxing in the sun, while the wooded areas offer shady trails for more tranquil strolls. One of the standout features of Bella Houston Park is the stunning views of the city from certain vantage points, especially if you take the time to explore the small hills. There's also a rich history tied to the park, with monuments and landmarks, including a tribute to Queen Victoria, adding to the cultural experience. For those into fitness, there’s plenty to do with football pitches, cycling paths, and even the popular Glasgow Ski and Snowboard Centre located within the park’s grounds. It’s also a popular spot for various events, including festivals and funfairs, which bring the park to life during warmer months. The park is well-maintained, with clean paths and ample seating areas for resting. However, like many large parks, it can get quite busy during peak times, particularly on weekends, but there's usually enough space to find your own corner of serenity. Overall, Bella Houston Park is a versatile and vibrant part of Glasgow, suitable for all ages and interests. It’s a must-visit for anyone wanting to experience a slice of the city’s outdoor culture.
Bellahouston Park hosting the Great Greenday! Supporting acts Ace of Maid and Nothing but Thieves amazing venue, mindblowing sound system and absolutely worth the experience to attend an outdoor Live gig! Kinda gutted we couldnt take our carry out into the park checkpoints in play but was worth the 5 min wait at the main gate to down it all empties in the bins provided at checkpoint of course Side note: hopefully Nothing but Thieves hold regular events in this space! Awesome group and if you havent seen them before I highly recommend it!!! Some clips of Greenday & Nothing but Thieves

A great and varied park on the southside or the city. Wooded Hill in the middle. Bellahouston sports centre one side, Palace of art sport halls on the other. House for an art lover ajoining so good for a macintosh trail visit. Lots of different paths and variety if gradients to customise and vary a walk. Lovely views in winter. Dog-friendliness: Dog compound in the middle
Lots of space, great for going to gigs but absolutely horrible when it rains. Only a small section of the park has coverings on the ground when the area is used for gigs. So be prepared to be slipping around if it rains!! Playground: There is small play areas dotted around the park Restrooms: Restrooms are nearby, but not in great condition or are clean
Lovely park only thing missing is a pond great place for gigs
23/06/2023 Me and my group came to this location on the 23rd of June 2023 to see MUSE live in concert first time I have ever visited Bellahouston park I was impressed at the amount of greenery and how large it was. you got to take a nice walk through the park same plenty of trees and wildlife before we actually got to the venue I can see why this is an extremely popular place for outdoor concerts and venues if you get the chance to see a band life here you must jump on it the first chance you get
