My dog's favourite place on earth! There's a large field to walk around and play fetch on, with plenty of room around other dog walkers. There are loads of trees which provide shelter in the rain, and shade when the sun is blaring. There's also a lovely woodland next to the field, and a lovely longer circular public footpath on the outskirts of the park, which provides some stunning views of the surrounding farms.
I visited this park for the first time this afternoon. I walked the dog around the woods and the park. We met some lovely fellow dog walkers. There are plenty of benches scattered around if you need a rest. We will definitely visit this place again. Dog-friendliness: . We met some lovely fellow dog walkers. I highly recommend this park.
If you have a dog, lots of room to let dog roam freely but I didn't have a dog, just meeting someone Dog-friendliness: I was dropping someone or picking someone up. Picnic area: Plenty of space for a picnic whether you are a son worshipping or need a shaded area this is for you all flat and wheelchair accessible
Medium sized park for Leeds. Some open space and small woodland. Plenty of friendly dogs and responsible owners. Playground for kids and parking. If parking is busy there's ample space along the park's boundary.
Nice little walk around woods and playing feilds, with a play area for the little legs.
Lovely well kept park. Woods to walk through. Great for dogs.
Lovely wide open space with a perimeter route of around 0.6 miles, plus an option to do a short walk in the woods at the opposite end to the car park. The car park holds around 15 cars and next to that is a small play ground for children.
A small park, but feels pleasantly remote. Excellent for dog walkers. The old house and what is left of its garden seem to give the place a slightly unusual feel. There is plenty of parking and a kids play area.
Lovely peaceful walking ....great children's play area . .and of course a wonderful time to be had by friendly dogs Just a warning though if you're dogs not happy being bound up to by other dogs, or slightly nervous, then it may not be the place to go...there were loads of dogs all breeds and sizes but not one of them on a lead!! Amazingly they seemed to get on for the most part...but I'd be amazed if that was always the case
Excellent little dog walking spot. Nice local flora. Only drawback was a slightly small area so a limited route to walk. Plenty of grassland for open tennis ball play though. Nice little haven in the metropolis of Leeds and its suburbs. Also is the site for Leeds Council Parks Department.
