I ordered fruit smoothie, snitzel and vanilla ice cream. I'd ranked it 6 stars! ****** Love the food and atmosphere. Service is excellent. Definitely want to come back and try all the food here! Love Love.
One of the best examples of customer service I've ever experienced, this place is incredible! Me and my girlfriend were welcomed out of the rain at the door by the lovely waitress who was super friendly, and even placed us by a radiator to warm up. The food was absolutely top-notch, all 100% vegan and arguably the best vegan cheese we've ever had. The pizza I had was soft and perfectly cooked, and the prices were brilliant given that vegan alternatives can sometimes be expensive. I wouldn't say live music is a preference of mine however the musician they had was a wonderful accompaniment, really giving the place a great vibe. If only I had searched restaurants before booking our hotel we would've stayed at the hotel attached to the restaurant, because on top of all of this, they were kind enough to give us some vegan butter to use at our own hotel who likely would not provide it. They even let us order and take desserts away with us as we were desperate to try them but we're so full from the wonderful starter and main. This level of kindness, attentiveness and quality food is rare to find these days, and so I absolutely recommend this place to anyone. Even if you're not vegan the food is undeniably incredible. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Thank you so much!
Highly commendable to have an all-vegan restaurant anywhere, and to open one in a rough part of already rough Blackpool takes especial bravery. We are both lifelong vegans so were delighted to find this restaurant existed. First impression walking in is very poor - badly plastered walls, cheap blinking lights along the bar, slapdash attempt at creating an Italian atmosphere through the odd Ferrari and Vespa picture on the walls. The service was great nice and helpful chap called Marco, who crawled on his knees to adjust our wonky table legs and food was delivered speedily. We ordered gin & tonics but mine came with fruits like blackberry and strawberry which were clearly from frozen and had the taste of tinned fruit, adding an unwanted soapy taste to my drink. We got a starter of cheesy garlic pizza and stuffed mushroom. The pizza crust was good, but there was zero cheese flavour and the garlic seemed to be completely raw, which lingered unpleasantly on the palette. The mushroom was barely cooked and was not stuffed but rather had a reasonably creamy sauce on top. For mains we had a seitan carbonara and seitan steak, chips and optional peppercorn sauce £3 extra The carbonara was loaded, again, with raw garlic, and the sauce was sticky and the pasta claggy, leaving an overall sensation of eating glue to the point it was actually hard to eat. The seitan pieces were nice and well-seasoned. The steak was good, as were the chips, but it came with a disparate pot of unseasoned peas in a ramekin and an almost-cooked half of beef tomato, highly under seasoned. Also came with corn on the cob which was fine. The meal didn't really come together so we were glad of the sauce, but when it came it was pallid and insipid, and appeared not to have come near to a peppercorn. It was like plain soya cream and did nothing for the meal we were compelled to mention this and the item never appeared on the final bill
Service is impeccable. Very friendly and down to earth. The food is all vegan and there is a surprising amount of choice on the menu. The Brussels pate tasted good, and my friend had a vegetable bake. I opted for a vegan pizza my first and while I was satisfied, for me, vegan cheese is too different and I think a better choice would have been a bake or pasta. The desserts are delicious and there is an extensive drinks menu. Only minor quibble was cold red wine which the waiter explained to us.
A lovely restaurant with the best vegan pizza around! The manager was really friendly and helpful and there was a family atmosphere with nice music playing in the background. A really great variety on the menu and lots for vegans, vegetarians and gluten free! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back for more vegan pizza!
The waitress here was great, very friendly and attentive. The live music was very good and not too loud. The atmosphere and decoration of the restaurant is cozy and rustic. They could do with some coasters on the chair legs, as they are awkward to slide in and out from the table. The food... not so great. I had a pasta bake which was mostly just a rich vegan cream with not much pasta in it pasta is cheap, don't hold back, it was crying out for a bit of spring onion, parsley or garlic through it as it was really too rich but bland. My friends had the tower burger but they also said the food they had was tasteless the chips they had were not good either which is a hard one to get wrong. They did both enjoy the pâté which really did taste meaty strange, but tasty! it seems a shame that they have limited the menu to Italian as they are missing out on serving a lot of delicious vegan food. Overall its not terrible, but I wouldn't go again.
The only fully vegan place in Blackpool somit was a must for me. Hoisin pasta was delicious.
Went in with quite a sense of pessimism which I guess is quite normal for a non vegan and only recent vegetarian, but I was very much proved wrong! I had the bbq chicken and bacon burger and was so surprised, it was an uncanny replica and really did taste gorgeous. I then tried some of my partners Ice cream and was equally impressed! Throw in a lovely atmosphere and friendly service and you have a great little place.
I'm a meat eater but took my veggie Mrs for her Birthday. Great atmosphere and we both loved the food. Didn't miss the meat once during the meal as it tasted so great. Would recommend the Faringo's Falafel!! Definitely will be coming back here, it was a lovely evening the staff looked after us well.
Best vegan food I have ever had. Great customer service. If you ever eat vegan food, and are in Blackpool then you HAVE TO EAT HERE, try the tiramisu! I don't usually eat deserts, but I could have had 3 of these and taken 2 others home with me. Fantastic place. We will go every time we visit Blackpool x
