We visited on a Friday afternoon and had a great time. The bar staff are friendly and welcoming. We took advantage of the cocktail deals which I think were two for one. Anyway when we visited the drink prices were very reasonable. The bar has two levels with the top level having excellent views of the sea, the north pier and the promenade. They have a kitchen which supplies all the pub classics like burgers and fish and chips. The price looked reasonable but I haven't tried the food.
Great pub, friendly staff and great view of the beach and central pier if you sit upstairs. Myself and family had a cooked breakfast and it was brilliant I couldn't fault it. Would recommend and when we return to Blackpool for a family day out we would go again.
Wow what a weekend us Scottish people had in Yates I’d like to thank the staff for a great pub great entertainment and staff especially Yvonne she went out her way to serve us all and kept our drinks topped up very nice lady and well mannered we will definitely be coming back again x
Brilliant bar in the heart of Blackpool. Highly recommended for my hangover this morning. Lime and soda pint was only 50p and the pint of coke was only £3 so a nice cheap morning.
Arrived For Food And Drink Went Upstairs Found Seat Near Seafront View . We Looked At Table Menus I Then Sent My Wife Down To Order For Us Both . She Was Told They Don't Serve Food Upstairs Even Though Menus Were On Tables Came Back Down To Eat Food Was Microwave Bog Standard Not Recommended For Eating Only As Pub Not Be Visiting Again Poor Place Staff To Busy Stood About End Bar Chatting Amongst Themselves Hope Owners Are Aware Their Staff Are Clearly Not Bothered About Customer Satisfaction ..
Yvonne was such a pleasure to be our bar maid. She made us feel at ease and had a good laugh with her. Would highly recommend trying to get Yvonne to serve you, you definitely won't regret it.
Lovely pub in Blackpool had a nice rump steak meal staff were really friendly and let you finish your meals first before asking how it was also deserts are £3. Really happy with my service I'll come visit again soon
A change from the usual 'spoons', it was clean, bright, warm, comfortable & welcoming. The food was nicely cooked, reasonably priced...very reasonably, and very tasty, the staff were sooo nice. Certainly makes a nice change from the usual places. Give it a go.
Excellent pub. Staff excellent. Promotions on drinks such as the cocktails first class. Food is typical pub food "but" is very very good. Buckets of chicken wings....Great.
Went in Yates today 1st December the young woman was so rude she shouldn’t be working with people. I asked as soon as I walked in at approx 3pm what lagers have you got? Her response was ‘ whatever is on the pumps’ Well I thought the staff training has gone down a treat. She served us then asked us to leave infront of ‘her’ till when there was no one in. We have shopping with us and where happy there. She was so rude. I’m jimmy. Wish we’d have gone elsewhere
