Such a vibrant, busy little town full of charming independent stores on the high street. Beautiful docks and amazing places to grab a bite. Totally loved the vibes. Like any other Cornish town, the public transport is scarce. Being a student town, it has all the cool things to do on a weekend. For history buffs there is a beautiful castle overlooking the sea.
Travelled to Falmouth by train. Short walk into the town. Got Cornish Pasties and coffee. Walked though the shops, some of them individual. Walked down to the harbour and sat on the front to eat our cornishes and look at the boats and yachts. Pleasant day all-round.
Bit biased as we live here, but still think the town's worth a visit. Lots of interesting shops and cafes and heritage places, boat trips and ferries. Plus Wetherspoons and Trago!
The best seaside town. Built on the Fal estuary with stunning views, great shops a traditional high street and a huge variety of amazing restaurants, pubs and bars. Something is always happening. Definitely THE place ro live.
Lovley shops nice peoples
