Having been over the years, the quality of the food served has declined. Service was very good, though, by the serving staff
We went back a few months later; Just as good as the first time. A group of us stopped on our way to the Japanese Gardens. The food was scrumptious, the service fast and friendly and the bill was reasonable. We didn't stay in a room so cannot comment directly but if the standard is anything close to the pub you will have no worries.
This is a super friendly pub, in a very pretty village , that served us two excellent dinners. Our server was super nice and easily accommodated our request for something from the lunch menu we were eating in the evening No wonder it has so many top ratings. My only regret is that I live 200 miles away!Service: 5/5
Had several great meals here over the summer. The beer garden is just wonderful to sit in and enjoy a chilled pint of Rattler.
Very welcoming local pub and serving really good Sunday lunch. We were a party of 10 plus a dog but they coped very well. Thank you!
Still one of my favourite spots in Cornwall. On this occasion it did seem a little tired. Granted it was a grey Wednesday in November but still not quite as inspiring as previous visits
Only popped in for a quick drink. Very popular with locals and visitors and justifiably so. Staff were friendly and happy to serve and discuss both drinks and menu.
