I’ve been training at Factory for nearly 2 years now and I really enjoy the experience. In particular, Adam head coach is a brilliant teacher - he explains sometimes complex information in simple terms, ensures that everybody has understood, and offers practical support where needed. Adam is a very encouraging coach and notices when students do something right - this supportive and positive approach makes a real difference. The gym is also filled with training partners with a similarly supportive attitude and I really couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
Factory BJJ has been unbelievable for my three kids, training in Jiu-Jitsu now for over a year. One of them is autistic and absolutely loves it. The coaches Adam & Leroy are great with all the kids, creating a supportive and inclusive environment. My kids have gained loads of confidence since training and they are loving learning the best martial art, in the best gym in the North West!!
Both my kids have been attending classes at Factory BJJ for just under six months and love it. Today we got to see their promotion, where Adam and the other instructors helped the class to demonstrate their skills in a fun and inclusive way. Everybody there is really friendly and the whole place has a positive vibe to it. If you are thinking about starting BJJ then I would highly recommend checking out Factory BJJ.
I've been training BJJ at Factory for the past decade. With an early start in various martial arts, I've been privileged to experience different training environments, yet Factory BJJ has been distinctively outstanding - better than anywhere else I've ever trained. The technical instruction, led by head coach Adam, is excellent. It emphasizes individual development and expression rather than emulating a singular style. Amongst the high-ranking students, there are no replicas of Adam - everyone has developed their personal style. The standards maintained at Factory are rigorous. Earning a belt here is a significant achievement, reflecting a practitioner's hard work, commitment, and ability. There are no short cuts available - each rank really is a testament to the wearer. Factory culture cultivates mutual respect among members, regardless of their rank. More experienced members routinely give up time to provide constructive feedback and encouragement to their less experienced peers. One to one support is typical on every open mat. The club also includes classes for children. Without these on a Saturday, my two sons, aged 8 and 4, would be feral by teatime. Newcomers and visitors from other clubs are very much welcomed. Members are always pleased to see new faces on the mat. Starting a martial art can seem like a daunting prospect, but it doesn't have to be - you just have to find the right place to train. Factory is one of those places.
A really friendly place to train. My sons have been coming here for a while now, and it's really helped their confidence. Both have ADHD, we had previously tried other BJJ classes, but nowhere felt as welcoming & inclusive as Factory BJJ. Great coaches that not only help the kids with techniques, but help them grow as individuals.
My son has been going to factory since he was 3. Started in the parent and child class and has now moved up into the next class. He absolutely loves it, the instructors are amazing with the kids, and it’s such a warm and friendly atmosphere every time we visit. Couldn’t recommend it enough whatever age you might be.
Been bringing my son here for a couple of years since the Parent & Me classes. He absolutely loves coming every week and it’s great to see his skills improving when we attend the promotions. Adam & Leroy are absolutely brilliant with the kids and you can tell the kids just love being taught by them.
Joined after starting the Saturday class with my son and enjoyed Adam and Leroy's class. It's been 10 Months and it's the hardest and best thing I've done. Adam,Pete and Sam are who I've done my classes with and alway easy to ask for help. Would recommend anyone on the fence to come and try it here.

Factory BJJ has been my martial arts home for the past 17 months, and it stands out as one of the best training environment I've ever experienced. Having dabbled in various martial arts from an early age, I can confidently say that Factory BJJ offers something truly exceptional. Head coach Adam is extraordinary at delivering technical instruction that is easy to follow for new and advanced members alike. What I think distinguishes his coaching approach and sets a standard within the gym is his strong focus on all members helping one another. As he often says, "A rising tide lifts all ships," emphasising the collective growth and progress of the entire team as a guiding mantra. The culture at Factory is one of mutual respect among members, regardless of their rank and is a testament to Adams leadership. It's heartening to witness more experienced belts willingly dedicating their time to provide constructive feedback and encouragement to newcomers and lower-ranked members like me. In addition to adult classes, Factory BJJ also offers a range of Saturday kids' classes, which my three sons attend. They eagerly look forward to every session and have grown tremendously in confidence. Parent and me class is also a great way to be part of their progress. Factory BJJ is not just a martial arts gym; it's a community that genuinely cares about the growth and well-being of its members. I couldn't be happier with my training experience here and hope to continue for many many years to come.
