Story

Warrior Muay Thai and fitness is situated on the 2nd floor of Houldsworth Mill, Houldsworth Street Reddish Stockport.

The gym provides a wide variety of training options to suit all abilities; we have a traditional weight training area consisting of a vast array of both machine and free weights, and the Thai Boxing area where we hold classes and provide personal training and private tuition, whether you want to get fit, improve your physique, or learn Thai Boxing, warrior Muay Thai can help you reach those goals.

All this is overseen by Kru Dean Hilton, who has been involved in the martial arts and fitness from an early age, venturing first into Judo and Kung Fu and finally Budokan Karate where at the age of 25 he gained his 3rd dan black belt.

In his search to further his fighting skills he turned to Thai Boxing training at the Northern Assassins club under the guidance of world Thai boxing Champion and acclaimed boxing coach Oliver Harrison.

Whilst Dean honed his fighting and coaching skills at the deadly Assassins Gym, he also trained in Thailand for many years at the world famous Sityodtong Gym in Pattaya Thailand., here Dean completed and was awarded his coaching certificate from Senanan Yodtong

Dean later went on to win three British titles in Thai Boxing winning belts at three separate weights and had the privilege to represent his country England in bouts across the world including Thailand and Russia.

After retiring from competitive fighting Dean concentrated on his coaching skills helping Mark Russell the then British and European Champion become world champion.
