Beautiful Frank Matcham theatre with ornate auditorium. Great touring and in-house shows, a secondary studio theatre space and restaurant.nnI've been here numerous times as our local professional theatre, and will continue to do so for years to come.
Location is good? Literally in town centre. The theatre is small but it is intimate. The theatre itself has really beautiful internal architecture with a huge chandelier. There is a good selection of shows and some musicals even stop here as part of their tour!
We just saw Aladdin 2024 panto and it was such a fun and hilarious experience. The theatre nails everything from lighting, to sound and atmosphere as well as clean toilets and friendly staff. We can't recommend this gem of a theatre highly enough.
First visit and what a fantastic play A man for all Seasons with Martin Shaw Theatre staff very good no complaints and would definitely recommend
The concept it great, much more relaxed than a normal cinema. But the food was expensive for the portion sizes, however, the food was good quality. And we were told the staff would come up to us to take the order but no one came and had to go up to the bar during the movie instead which was a pain, so be sure to call someone over to order when the movie hasn’t started yet!
