Attending the 1930 showing of Burlesque & Cabaret on Friday evening. First time visiting this theatre and albeit quite small it generates a great atmosphere. The decor is very ornate, our seats were front upper circle and I don’t think there is a bad view from any seats. The show was very entertaining and a bit risqué and comedy acts were excellent. Don’t sit in either of the first two rows if you don’t want to get picked on or dragged up on stage.The singing was excellent, good evening out. Toilets were immaculate, tub of ice room £4each, don’t know about drinks as didn’t have one. Car park behind theatre £3.50 evening tariff, free road side parking within 15 minute walk.
We came to see Man in the Mirror. It was a wonderful show. Very happy with our seats and the prices.nThe architecture is beautiful its still a lovely little theatre and I was very happy to find you can still buy ice cream in the intermission its been many years since I've last visitednMy only niggle about the Everyman is that the bar and cafe are very small so not much seating considering the amount of people in the theatre at one time. The queues are long as well. Most people have to stand so trying to squeeze through from one end to the other is tricky. Will still definitely visit again one day though.
We had a lovely time seeing Glorious at the Everyman Theatre.nnWe had lunch in the theatre cafe which was delicious and the staff were very attentive and courteous. The gentleman on the box office was polite and courteous when I collected my tickets.
We were visiting from the US. Being off season for travelers in the Cotswolds we met lots of local folks. That was the best part. But that theater...Gorgeous! I am an architect and appreciated the detailing, the acoustics, the seating. Foot traffic patterns were a little circuitous but that just made it adventurous.nnThe play/concert Buddy Holly was amazing! Talent everywhere. Great music, personality and energy including sing alongs by the audience. We had a very memorable evening.
Excellent venue, very clean and always have a great time. Recently been to a comedy evening called Chuckl. Very funny!nBar is a bit busy during the breaks, but always end up being time to get back to your seat. Pre ordering drinks for the next break is a must though!
