Can only offer up my gratitude and thanks to the lady assistant and staff at the Vue in Stroud. After a particularly harrowing visit to A&E in Gloucester for many hours I returned on the bus on crutches to Stroud. She kindly offered me a chair and let me wait inside until my daughter could pick me up and take me home. Thank you very much!
Recently visited to watch the new Bridget Jones Film Saturday morning, and so wish we hadn't bothered. It was so loud we had to leave! I had never experienced anything like it before. It was painful to the ears. The Manager scarpered and wasn't remotely interested. In fact, he seemed to think it was funny and left us to deal with the young girl at the desk. They did give us our money back, but it was a very upsetting experience. We won't be back!
Sound during trailers deafening.nSound during film poor - much of it muffled.nTheatre lights left on during screening.nThe entire venue is soulless and not at all a “ movie” experience - management need to get a grip on all of this .nStaff were helpful in this lacklustre place
Screen room was about 40 degrees, cinema lobby tired, toilets tired.nSeating layout didn’t make sense.nBooked two seats together and they were separated by the isle.nnCrap experience. Dare I say it, I would rather go to cinema world 50x over
room was cold so bring a coat and the lights were on the whole time. they dimmed but still was bright enough to cause a glare on the shinny bald head 4 rows infront.
