Had to live in their property with no hot water in the kitchen, told them about it and they basically said "work with it" because they couldn't do anything about the plumbing from the hot water heater. They sold the estate to Ocasa and I had some maintenance with the water heater and was speaking to the engineer about living without hot water in the kitchen and they were disgusted by it and told me to report this to the new landlord Ocasa. I had a water pump fitted and after 5 years living without it and being told by Evenbrook that they could not do anything, Ocasa fixed it within weeks. I use to get so annoyed and angry when Evenbrook had the AUDACITY to increase rent whilst tenants were living this way, Ocasa increased their rent this year and I welcomed it because everything is functioning as it should. Evenbrook regularly send communications with "without prejudice" because you cannot use any documents with this on in court. Evenbrook should not be looking after any properties, I wrote a google review of how bad they were when they were still owners of the estate and they actually emailed me privately to threaten me to take down the review. I'm glad I'm able to write this now that I know better and know that they could have done something about my water situation but didn't want to spend money whilst they gladly took my money. Grade A C***s.

Spent 6 months here in BrownsGreen. Excellent Management company. Looks after the grounds in the estate to a high standard. Maintainance crew are quick with resolving any issues with the property. The rent is cheap but the quality of the studios and apartments are simple but modern. Plenty of parking space. Very quiet area. Felt like an hotel experience. Without the room service.
Ensure you have earplugs or poor hearing or are a very early starter say 4 5 am starter.. you will not get a good nights sleep or any peace and quiet in the property the sound pollution in the properties is ridiculous, struggling to get the issues addressed by landlord,
Really don't know what all the negative reviews are about. I'm very lucky to be a tenant of Evenbrook I had some bad circumstances and had nowhere to live when they quickly moved me into a beautiful new build property for a good monthly price. They were really supportive and helpful and the staff are so friendly, they even plumbed my washing machine in for free and helped me get my keys out the bin when I accidentally dropped them in there haha. Very happy tenant!
I moved here in April 2019 and since then this was one of my favourite places I have ever lived. The neighborhood is safe, as it is a private estate with gate operated entrance. The maintenance works are done as soon as possible, even the same day as there is onsite maintenance team; knowing this gives you a peace of mind. Flats are decent size, bright and clean, as well as all of the surroundings. The grass is cut regularly which gives this place a well maintained look. Some of the flats benefit in beautiful little balconies, some from big windows which allow plenty of light. Not more than 10 min walk to the Tesco / Cooperative shop and other family run businesses. Great transport link with bus 16 just outside of the estate or bus 11 a few minutes walk down the road. If you are looking for a place to live in Birmingham in safe neighborhood, inexpensive and cosy flats consider moving here.
very difficult to get in contact with them, i’m urgently looking for an accommodation and one of my friends suggested me to contact them as he lives there...i tried to email them 3 times and call more that 10 times but never received an answer: very frustrating
Loved the fact that it was gated. But security just let us in no questions asked who we were visiting or why we were there. No point in having gates then. Needs more lighting especially at the back. Cars just waiting at the bottom. Its quite scary with young children.
I’ve been an Evenbrook tenant for almost 5 years now and I couldn’t wish for a better landlord. Having an onsite maintenance team, any problems are dealt with in a matter of days if not hours. With a responsive and friendly customer service team, secured gated entrance, parking ample and lovely scenery I think it’s the best place to live in the Birmingham area.
Worst experience ever! I moved into one of there flats in Bristol and found problems in the first couple of days. Broken heater, draught through windows , internal doors not closing. On top of all this the hot water had problems. The flat would regularly lose hot water. When this happened over a weekend there was NO engineer available. Which meant I had no hot water for many days at a time. Even during the week their maintenance contractor was so busy that he couldn't fit me in until a week later! They would not hire a external professional only to save them money and did not care that I only had cold water. This issue of the hot water continued during my stay and it was never properly fixed and Evenbrook estates didn't care and were only interested in their rent! The advice they gave was 'boil some water'! Like yeah that's not practical! Overall a bunch of cowboys in the rental market who don't care about their tenants.
