Thanks for all your help in the end Pete. From turning a sticky situation due to another store into a happy ending. Pleased with the car and the speed once I found one on site. It pays to spend more on a good quality car.

Had to visit the service centre six times to get the car in a good condition.

Now very happy with my car and could have been 5 stars. My advice would be to chat to the sales team and not the service team, as they seem more willing and able to help. 

When I picked up the car, it clearly hadn't been looked at in great depth. The paintwork that had been agreed to be fixed hadn't been and there was still some rubbish and belongings in there from the previous owner. The service warning light was also left on....

Within 2 weeks the car had to be taken back to replace the motor in the drivers side window. The wiper blades also needed replacing, which the service centre refused to replace even though it was something that should have been inspected on their service, as it does not appear on the warranty. 

Clearly not embarrassed by me returning the car within 2 weeks I was also charged to use a replacement car whilst it was in the garage.

Almost a month later, they replaced the motor in the car. By this time I had hand washed the car and the previous paint scratches began to show, but worst of all some of the paint on the drivers door came clean off down to bare metal, as it had been covered up with a marker pen.

I spoke to Joe the salesman who sold the car to me, who asked me to get the service team to get him or a manager down to the car whilst the window motor was being replaced. The service team didn't really show any interest in doing this and the body shop didn't look at it.

instead I drove it to the sales show room, where I spoke to Dallas, one of the managers. Within 2 minutes of talking with him, he told me to bring the car back next week and the paint would be fixed, which it now is.

As I said, could have been 5 stars if the service team and body shop had inspected the car properly in the first place, or put them right straight away rather than pointing at their warranty book.

Very pleasant experience from start to finish when selling my car here. Thanks to Luke and Saffron for making the whole process easy and painless. I will be buying my next car here. Excellent customer service :-)

Went to main dealership, because I was buying used, under £6k, I got sent to a tatty side door on their service site. Even though the car was advertised on the dealers main autotrader.co.uk page. Saw the car I wanted and then waited nearly an hour for the staff to get it out to drive (the car in front wouldn't start... Reassuring...) anywhoo, took the car for a drive and liked it. Offered me a joke of a price for my car as part exchange. Even with that we were £150 apart from what they wanted and what (after a lot of research) I was willing to pay. The salesman stated firmly numerous times 'we don't negotiate on price'. So I walked away. They lost a sale of over £5k. The salesman couldn't of cared less.  The customer service is non existent, (unless, I suspect you have £10k in your pocket).
 They try to sell you a car like they are doing you a favour. Appalled I got this treatment from a supposed main dealer. But I wasn't spending enough to be worthy of main dealer treatment. Oh, and I bought a citroen. From somewhere else. Should tell you everything really..

Paid £200 for a move me closer vehicle after a week of not hearing anything phoned to ask when the vehicle would be ready to be viewed all I got from sales team was rude "don't know" can take up to 10 days. 
Next day receives an email this car can no longer be moved closer contact me for refund which I did by email but got no reply. 
Phones sales the next day to say I've found another car can this be moved closer? 
I'm with a customer I'll phone you back in an hour, NO call back after 4 hours so i phone sales again to request a refund as I'm unhappy with the service another very rude salesman "give me your card number" no apology nothing! 
Checks my account after 3 days no refund so phones sales again to ask about my refund he asks for my card details again I explained I've already given them he's reply was "well either give me them again or wait 7 days to see if you accounts credited"
Absolutely disgusting customer services would not recommend to anyone!
