Uncomfortable location. Strong smell of chemicals all around the outside. Access road badly damaged and dirty. Potholes and damaged tarmac rendering it an entire tripping hazard for customers coming by walk or walking out of their car.

I have to give 1 star as it wont let me give less but definitely deserves less.WARNING! Very very poor company.after delivering a beaten up/every single panel/door/ windscreen/wheels/tyres  damaged.it had done over 60.000 miles.more like 160.000 the state of it.been used as a bumper car.......after returning it 2 weeks later they recon I damaged the rear door and windscreen..........technology is great these days.i took over 30 pics of all damage once it was first delivered.date and time stamped.......... didn't see that one coming did you Mr eastern European it's ok ok ok car checker/driver...That's 1 to me and 0 to Europecar.......so watch out if hiring from here.......take loads and loads of pics or it will bite you in the arse.......you have been warned!

I booked my van with 24 hours notice, about 12 hours before pick up time the Europcar team from Romford branch called me and announced that they are unable to guarantee van for me. The reason was that they will have delivery of new cars to this branch but they do not know exactly what time and it may happen that I will be waiting even a few hours before getting the car. Some Joke!!. It seems to me that if they wanted to complete this reservation they could bring the car from a different location, but I guess they did not bother. I would like to say that I am Privilege executive member. Happy with a different company now.

Unfortunately I can't give a lower rating.. I've never had 100% customer satisfaction when using this company, got to be the worst hire company going,unfortunately my company uses this hire company only so I have no choice, where do I begin, the first ever time I asked for a sprinter sized van as I needed it to collect large heavy objects, they sent me the right sized van but the side door had been crashed into and wasn't able to shut properly, noway was it suitable to drive over an and a half away to load it with heavy objects.. Also the door had europcar stickers over the gap asif they weren't trying to keep it from flying open! 

Second experience.. Monday this week I booked a van for hire, requesting a long wheelbased transit size van, i told them the van I have now is a Vauxhall vivaro so it needs to be that size.. They turned up with a sprinter size van, I sent it back! 

Tuesday I then phoned them again explaining their mix up and they said they will get the correct van out to my by 4pm..I arrive home at 2.10pm and ten minutes later they are here (no message, no call), lucky i finished early that day otherwise I would have missed them.. Considering they said 4pm..and to top it off the van they sent me (right size this time) the front left wheel looked flat.. I inspected the Tyre and found a screw and a nail buried in it.. It obviously has not been checked over properly before delivery, unfortunately I didn't check this straight away while they were there so I couldn't send this one back, I really needed it for work today so I've had to drive it.. I will not be driving it anymore though now unless they come and change the wheel! Really wish my company would use enterprise or another company!

**BEWARE ** returned my car, did only 7 miles with it for one shopping errand. The East European guy went on his hands and knees and found out of sight tyre damage that could only have been caused by a previous kerbing (alloy scuffing already listed). He admitted as much but still said I would have to pay as I hadn't flagged it on the initial inspection!! Ain't gonna happen sunshine. Challenged this with the Clerk, who assured I wouldn't be charged and signed off the sheet stating 'no damage'. Lo and behold a few weeks later an email landed threatening to automatically debit my card for hundreds for a new tyre! I've cancelled my card to prevent them defrauding me and reported this incident to the authorities. Total shameless chancers, trying to rip money from me for damage they blatantly knew was already there. Turns out the 'tyre scam' is a common one with this company. Steer clear.
