If there was an option for no stars then I would put none! I’m very unhappy with this company! First of all I booked online to higher a van witch gave me the option to collect on Saturday and return on Sunday. Then when I pick the van up they said I can not drop the van off on Sunday as they are closed! I had no choice but to take the van as it was too late to get another one from anywhere else. I was then driving the van and and indication light came on as the van was over heating. It turns out the van had no coolant in it at all so the engine was overheating and losing power I was driving on a main road and felt very unsafe for myself and others. I had then put water and coolant in the van and turns out that it does not stay in the compartment and leaks out. I was told the van has no heating when I picked it up.  What company hires out vans that are this bad and dangerous. However I had then contacted head office and explained the situation they was very helpful and got the van picked up from my address as I did not feel safe driving it.

I hired a van for a week with different drop off location and my experience was excellent despite some negative feedback reported here. Woodford office Naveed was excellent and quick in dealing with my rental very professionally. Same applies to Hull office, who were also quick to check me in. I will hire with Europcar again very soon. Thank you all.

They claim they told you things that they didn’t, they don’t adhere to their contracts. They are not at all sympathetic when in the wrong and their charges are simply scams.  The branch was closed at our agreed drop off time, we were not told at pickup or by any subsequent phone calls that this would be the case. We then had to spend another 2 hours on the phone with Europcar regarding this to which they kept offering options which were not acceptable at all.  We ended up having to drive the vehicle to Stratford West Fields to park and then drop the keys off at the branch the next day. I live in Zone 1 so all parking is permit only and I’m inside of the congestion zone, so this was not an option.  I also live an hour away from this branch and no where near Stratford. Meaning I had to get a taxi home after dropping off the vehicle costing £40.00 and then take time off work the next day to make the hour journey to this branch to hand in the keys.  To top this all off they now want me to pay an extra £50.00 for the fuel used. Which wouldn’t have been used if they stuck to the contract and took the vehicle back when we arrived within our designated slot. Please be aware that they gave us the vehicle missing quarter of a tank, but of course they deny this.  Horrendous, would not recommend and I recommend that everyone stay far away and choose a much more reliable and trustworthy car rental organisation.  I won’t write anymore, but please know that this is only a small section of the story and this is still ongoing. Please be aware and cautious.  *Response to reply, I have and you customer service think that trying to charge me an additional £50.00 with a rude email is acceptable ‍

A clean and tidy vehicle was provided, however a real shame that neither the driver side or passenger side electric windows were working.  Slightly annoying situation when you are in a hire van. In all honesty, I would have expected these faults to have been checked and identified prior to picking up the vehicle at 9:30am.

Really friendly and helpful. Super service.  I hired a car for Christmas and the team at Europcar Woodford were brilliant. Fast, friendly, one of the best car hire locations I’ve dealt with - and I’ve hired a lot of cars!

Karl & his staff have been extremely helpful and we have had a ongoing rental with them for months because of this. I highly recommend them for customer service and they went the extra mile and had the car washed for us on numerous occasions.  Thanks very much!

Had a great experience recently while traveling from Miami. Great service, great car, and Nav, the gent who assisted was professional and very helpful. I look forward to using this location again next time I’m home visiting family.

they don’t answer their phone, been on the phone to them for about 3 hours now and every time they answer they hang up. The worst customer service i have ever experienced

After reviews below I was pleasantly surprised everything went smoothly.  Booked a 1 day rental online and everything went as expected.  There was a 250 mile limit before mileage charges kicked in but that was fine for my purposes.  Limit was mentioned online, in rental docs and by women serving me but do pay attention to any limits as charges can quickly become significant I think excess miles were 20p each in case of the van!. Excess quite high £1000 on CDW but there was different options to reduce, risked the excess in my case! Personally I always take before and after pictures of bodywork in case there is a dispute re. any damage, did so here, but van was pristine on pick up and drop-off ;-  Had a wait a couple of mins for van to be cleaned when I arrived to collect but lady on counter was very friendly and kept me informed. 3 or 4 other people being dealt with whilst I was there and all seemed to be handled professionally and without raised voices on either side ;- Great location for pickup/drop-off, 1 minute walk from tube station :-

One of the worst experience i have ever had, I was meant to get a courtesy car by Rac and they sorted one here for me. I was told someone will deliver the car to me in morning between 10am to 12. I was called at 11:30am by eurocar telling me I have to collect it and they can’t drop it off to me and won’t do so at all unless I collect it. After being late to work by 2hs I finally collected the car and when I returned it, everything was perfect with the car no damages, all good until a week later when they send me a random invoice of 122£ asking me to pay it. I didn’t deal with them, it was through RAC courtesy car. Avoid and if you do go pay with a specific car make sure to block it so they won’t take no extra payments
