I had to hire a van after my long wheel base van died on the the week I needed it the most for my house move from Surrey to Kent. I hired a van from Enterprise in Guildford passing all the usual credit checks, and hired it for six days. I was disappointed with the condition. For a national company and the relatively high cost I expected something better. One brake light out and the side door faulty so had to put up with constant beeping showing the side cargo door open. Every panel had damage. Unable to return the van to the Broadstairs branch without paying £150 extra I had to drive it back to Surrey. I then tried to hire the same sort of vehicle from the Broadstairs office and to my anazement I failed the credit checks and was told I could not have a van. I got onto the Guildford branch again and couldn't fault the lady in the office who couldn't explain but tried her best for me and even got clearance from the area manager. However at Broadsrairs it was a case of 'Computer says No!' It was rotten service with no reasons given for the discrepancy and staff totally disinterested. What happened to your claim of US service? I've hired vehicles in the States many times and your service is rubbish. I went to a competitor in Margate who hired to me straight away. Their van was in great condition and not only that but There was no waiting, no hassle and it was much cheaper. Enterprise you need to get your act together and live up to your adverts. I hear you have more branches and vehicles than bulls in Spain - well all I can say is it's bull...! I'm giving you one star for having unlimited mileage. Patrick Bastille.

I book my van saturday for monday 9am.Monday morning i was shocked becouse i been told they dont have car and one will be available evening..never ever
