Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Hired a car for my holiday, booked it via costco so thought will be smooth. on the day got the wrong car, bless the girl called Lucy who went out of her way to find me a new car, which had to go next day to pick up and was told not ready. I think it is a company which is greedy to book customers and than scrap the barrel to find a car. my car had a fault on return and had to call the AA who said was ok to drive, I think they should check the car before giving them out, mine was not at all as it came in front of me and weas washed and handed to me. I think if it was not for hard wotk of lucy gill , my hoiliday wouyld have been ruined. will never get back to them, lesson learned and will feed back to Costco too, maybe they should know what they are selling.

I got a car booked from my insurance and I picked the car up drove away for my day to day job and never expected that they are going to give me a faulty car was driving in a 40 mile PH speed than suddenly engine lights came on and the speed dropped to 3-4 mile per hour Could have been run over with a LGV so stood out and had a tab for the stress I had been through when the car returned back, instead of dealing with the situation or any apologies instead like nothing happened the staff informed me that I've been charged £50 valeting and £22 for fuel while even the fuel was just slightly below the half what I originally got it . As I wasn't supposed to returned the car until something heard from insurance but when I asked that you should at least get permission to take money from my bank the receptionist said they don't have to ,, very cheap ,unreasonable, unreliable dishonest and rude, this branch is,disgusting and stinking attitude

Charge for damage which was all ready there!! Wouldn’t recommend to any one as they toke the whole £250 deposit the just try to take your money!!

Were away in the Highlands of Scotland and had a problem with the car which when inspected by the mechanic was deemed to be unsafe to drive. I spoke to Brogan at the Union Road,Byker branch who did everything possible to arrange for an exchange vehicle from Mokil who in turn did a fantastic job at the the Inverness city branch. We got a vehicle 4 hrs earlier than originally expected to get us on our way. On dropping the vehicle off in Byker Brogan said that she would give me a 15% discount on my next hire for the trouble we had. Absolutely fantastic customer service and hope that both Brogan and Mokil are rewarded.

A fool learns the hard way. I had to get to Cornwall in emergency. Booked one way car hire. Told they had one small automatic left at roughly £200-250. Then when arrived by taxi told it was a bigger car top of the range Volvo V70 which came in at £500 +! Buyer beware - check, check, check the outside of the car with the person you accept it from. The car had just been washed hosed down however I can recall how dirty the back of the car still was, but thought ‘Oh well’ at least the water was running down the rear window, cleaning it off. When I return car to an Cornwal Enterprise, they pointed out a longish scratch on the rear bumper. Now I know I didn't cause it, but I have nothing to prove it was not either done previous to my hire or during my hire when I was not present. eg at night. Just beware people. Do all your checks and don't be panicked into getting any car because you are feeling in a vulnerable place.

Hard sell on insurance whilst sitting in the car seat whilst about to drive off. Not a nice experience. Worse than that - they added a refuelling charge to the tune of around £45 and despite 3 separate emails and a cross city trip in my own time to discuss it with them - I still haven't had my money back over a month later. This despite the branch manager accepting point blank that it was a simple recording error on their part. Nice guys - but I won't be using again

Renault Captur - Economy Car for two persons. Wonderful drive, car was immaculate and far exceeded my expectations for the economy class. Pick up and return was simple and hassle free. Location very convenient for us and also easy enough to access. If you're at all apprehensive of not having driven for a while, then before setting off ensure that the sat nav in your chosen vehicle has been reset from the previous customer before you set off! Vehicle had an electric parking brake, of which I was initially sceptical, however this makes driving in traffic an absolute breeze and the car overall was highly accessible. Of course the member of staff on collection tried to sell me insurance but this is part of the product. I purchased insurance from an external provider, if you do so try to ensure that you know fully what it covers and what it does not. I miss my rental car already and Will be back for future trips. Absolute game changer in these times we find ourselves living in.

I can't remember the name of staff but they are very professional and friendly. Quickly services in collect and returned the car.
