There was a bit of stress from the outset. There was no parking space in the rental compound so I had the choice to either leave my car parked on a busy road, or get it taken somewhere else. I chose to get it collected and taken off road. I felt that the customer service agent was slightly unhelpful, and the 1st class service which Enterprise strive for appeared absent. There was then a problem with payment, and it was suggested I may not have funds available, which was incorrect. Once again a more person centred approach would have been better, and undue stress would have been avoided. I was also slightly unhappy about the quantity of fuel that was registered. It was noted that there was between half empty, and a quarter tank, when it was infact just slightly above empty. I took a picture of the fuel gauge with my phone as I anticipated this being brought up on return. This did happen, and luckily I had the picture evidence to back up my claim, otherwise I'd have been even more out of pocket. I actually left more fuel in it. I've hired a few vehicles in the past and there has been no stress. This was the last thing I expected and it didn't exactly make what was an already stressful period even worse. Unfortunately I probably won't use enterprise again. I hope that no one else has a similar experience, and that a more person centred high class customer service approach is adopted.

I keep going back to these for any vehicle hire. Motors are spotless (picked up from others to find them full of litter and in one case oil all over the floor). Customer service is always pleasant and helpful too. And finally, whatever you book, you get, turned up to others to pickup a motor and they don't have it available!

As my car was supplied via my insurance company I can't comment on prices. The staff were great though and the "scratch & dent" limits seem to be way more generous than other hire car companies. Of course one hopes not to scratch a hire car but it's normally a considerable source of anxiety when one hires a care. It was really nice to not have to worry nearly as much.

Usually quite good. But they seem to have a manager now who doesn't seem to know his job well. Had to stop him from charging me for something he shouldn't be. Also noticed they gave me a car from the smaller category and justified it is the correct category. Cross checked on their list it definitely was a smaller car. He said he isn't going to reduce the cost. I was in a hurry to left with whatever they had. A little disappointed.

Booked a manual small car as I cannot drive an automatic and am not confident with bigger cars. Arrived on time to be offered an AUTOMATIC 4 x 4! The manager, Hassan acted like he was doing me a great favour as 'I had been upgraded.' I told him I wasn't interested in any upgrade I just wanted what I had booked as there was a good reason for booking it and they had had plenty of time! They then had to go off an get another car that was at Halfords. Waited and waited. After an hour offered a very large manual black car that I had to climb into - I refused as I was collecting some elderly relatives that would not be able to get into this type of car. Waited and waited again and eventually given a Renault Clio. By then it was way past the closing time and I was not given proper instructions on how to handle the car - it was obvious they wanted to get rid of me and go home. When I got to the petrol station I couldn't remember if it was diesel or petrol so looked for the user manual in the glove compartment but there was nothing in there. They close at midday on Saturday - couldn't phone them - so I just guessed and luckily I was right but I had gone past caring by then. Hassan told me the lights were automatic - it got very black with torrential rain and visibility was terrible - cars kept flashing me so I pulled in to a layby to check the lights were on and they were not - very dangerous. Appalling customer service - if I order a vehicle to be collected then I expect it to be there and I expect to receive what I ordered and not wait and wait and wait. I will NEVER use Enterprise again - only reason I did was because it was the only one in the area but they could use some competition. It is a pity THRIFTY are not around they are amazing and I would recommend them to everyone to use.
