Very central car park, although can be slightly awkward to park and exit, as in leaving a space you cross into the entrance/exit lanes. These lanes form the core of the spiral, with the spaces positioned off those lanes.nWe arrived Friday morning at 08:30 and there were loads of spaces. £2.70/ hour, so not cheap, but excellent location. You can pay using Pay by Phone app. Watch out to input the correct code.
Hi all,nnThis car park is very tall! I think the tallest? I don’t know if I’ve ever seen one as big and long as this! Not to mention the size of the car park! Holy smokes, I am verynnThere shouldn’t be any ramps though. I enjoy stairs even more I think. Good for stamina and also passing the time when there is lots of it.nnI am Jesse GrahamnnI cannot drive
We parked at the very top of Eldon Square Multistorey Car Park and entered the shopping centre via John Lewis. When we returned at 7 pm, we tried to go back through the shopping centre to reach our car. We politely asked a security guard for directions, but instead of helping, he shouted at us in a very rude manner, saying “it’s not my problem” and that the shopping centre was closed. His tone was aggressive and completely unnecessary, he even frightened our 2month old baby and our 4 year old child.nnMy husband and I were absolutely shocked by the way we were spoken to. After spending money in Eldon Square, this is the last thing we expected. The lack of basic courtesy and assistance was deeply disappointing.
All I can say is... what a unique car park...nSpiralled. First time I've seen that. Anyways we ended up 6 floors up and parked easly enough.nMust admit I really enjoyed driving up and down.nPrices were fair and with it being in Newcastle and so close to Elton square, Chinatown and other places it's fantastic.
Never once have we gone to this car park and all the machines be working on the top. On Thursday the machine close to accessible bays was once again not working. We don't have phones that we can use to pay. We had to drive to one of the other machines, pay and then my disabled husband had to negotiate stairs. Please get your act together and get those machines working.
