Best carpark in toon! Don’t mess around though! Go straight around to the top and park near one of the doors into John Lewis’. Just make a mental note of where you come out in the store though, otherwise you’ll be walking around the carpark for ten mins trying to find your car again!
Always very full but handy parking spot.
This is a great place to park if your heading into Newcastle. Granted because it's a spiral car park... You get dizzy on the way up and down so it kind of balances out. It reasonably priced and I have always managed to get parking here. I did work out if your taking your motorbike into the parking space.. you will have to pay for it. The app allows motorbikes to be chosen and it does take money for the privilege. It used to be free. There is an overflow on top of eldon square .. so plenty of space to park and right by the shops.
You can walk straight in to the Eldon Square shopping centre from car park. Free parking after 7 pm every day. Normally plenty free spaces.
Weirdest car park ever. Someone must have thought this was a brilliant idea but a spiral car park means blind corners left and right and one way or another you are going to have to reverse into two way traffic. Even crossing from the car to the central stairwell/lift felt uncomfortable. Then it took us ages to work out how to work the pay machine which actually just didn’t work. However it’s extremely convenient for the shopping centre.
