Terrible - considering how much money they're raking in they could afford someone on traffic control at peak times to help with exiting into the city centre and prevent queue jumpers pushing their way in. Cost over £8 for less than 3 hours parking, took 1 hour 40 mins to exit from the roof level, then at the exit barrier a further £5.90 was requested for the time queueing to leave. The assistant on duty cleared that but had I been using the auto-pay system I would have been charged over £14. Also the parking spaces are extremely narrow with barely any room to open doors.
Charged three times because the NCP App is useless. Encouraged to use the App to scan in and out and save money on 24hr stay at £11.95, usually £14.95, However, upon trying to leave the next day, I placed the QR code on the mobile phone under the scanner but the barrier stayed down, naturally I tried the QR code again, the barrier still not moving, I tried it a third time, the NCP car park attendant came to assist, seemed he possibly could have come across this issue before, as he said, do you have online banking, please check your transaction history, and for every time we scanned to leave, it had charged us, totalling £35.85, The attendant claimed the system sometimes does this, he said i can raise the barrier and let you out, but theres nothing i can do about the additional charges, you'll have to ring the number on the machine and take it up with the NCP customer service, call centre located in the Philippines a wasted 25 minute wait on hold to NCP customer service who did nothing of significance to help or refund, we ended up contacting our bank who were superb with us and instant refund and have taken the issue up for us. For anyone else using app QR, just please be aware, just scan only the one time, and if the barrier doesn't raise, immediately press the button to call for car park security, because you will be over charged for each scan. Hope this helps. And thank you to Reece, who let us out.
Highway Robbery ! from NCP. The time clock on the barrier is different to the pay machine therefore fleecing customers for more money. I returned to my car with 10 minutes to spare yet was charged an extra hour for returning exactly at time the machine changed. The ticket machine won't give you a receipt or your old ticket back ! how convenient for them so you do not have the evidence to challenge them! Don't waste your time ringing NCP at the car park or when you get home as I wasted 15 minutes at the car park and over 1 hour at home waiting for someone at customer care to answer the phone. Overall NCP are one of these horrible robbing companies that once you fall into their trap milk you for every penny. Scumbags
Absolutely diabolical prices. Cost me over £5 for just over an hour how can they even comprehend prices like that? Not to mention it is confusing to pay, don’t accept coins and the bays are absolutely tiny anybody in the drivers seat would have to hop over the passenger side because the spaces are too tight ! I will never ever park here again and advise against any one else parking here not just because of the price but because of how complicated it is. I have a pretty small car so anybody with a larger vehicle or anybody who needed to get out a pram from their car would be screwed. Save yourself the money and park up at ST James.
Parked here today - paid and arrived back at car at 15.50 - wasn’t able to leave the parking space until 18.50! Cars waiting to exit backed up to the 14th floor. NCP staff refused to lift the barrier to help clear the cars at exit not NCP policy!! until Police intervened and barrier was lifted. Police were very helpful. 3 hours we’ll never get back. Will never use NCP ever again.
This car park is a haven for little anti social toerags running around in the evening. Watch out for them throwing things and spitting on people from the car park windows. Clearly not manned after a certain time. I would not park a car here. Ever.
Changed the early bird time whilst I was in the car park from 10am to 8.30am which resulted in me paying £14.95 instead of £7.95. Tried to contact them regarding this but never heard back!
It's the worst car park I have ever been to. Doesn't advertise if no spaces are available. Ended up on the 15th floor at 9 months pregnant and had to climb the stairs down and up as the elevator didn't work. Trying to get out, we ended up stuck in this car park for nearly 3 hours because primark parked its vans outside the exit, and no one could move or leave. Never experienced anything like this before. Also check your tickets for time they over charged us by a hour and then as we were finally getting to leave they wanted more money for us not been able to leave because of been stuck luckily the staff lifted the gates to allow us to leave. Nearly £15 for 4 hours, and that's without the nearly 3 hours it took to leave!
Horrible car park nightmare to get in and out, one way system does not work. Over 45 mins to get from level 13 to exit. Dont bother unless u want to waste your life in a jam
Absolute terrible car park for getting out of, I park here due to working close by and it regularly can take nearly an hour to get out of the car park,sometimes even longer on a weekend! Plus the little toe rags using it as a place to cause trouble and the prices are extortionate.i will be looking at using another car park as it's getting worse
