Used this car park for the City Hall. Parking was £1.80/hr but free after 19:00. check this as older sign stated after 18.00. Easy to reach from the central Motorway which is good for arrival and departure. Close to the shopping in Northumberland Street/Eldon Centre if required.
A little tight in places with a long car, but one of my favourite parking spots in Newcastle. Pay by Phone is super handy.
Paid by card - you check in with bank card when arrive and check out with bank card when u leave. Stayed 3 half hours ticket stated £7 and they took over £13 out my bank!!!
Cant pay with cash. Payment via 'card only' is a con. Over charged with no explanation. £3 for 50minutes to visit a filthy Northumberland St. Not anymore...
It is a well located city car park. You can park your car without get into central traffic. Then, you simply walk to the city centre do your job. They charge for parking as common in the Newcastle. It supports long term parking permits of Newcastle City Council but you need to apply for it.
Parking machines were very confusing for my dad who is disabled. The system to pay for a blue badge holder is not great, even took me a few goes.
17 pound a day, the ticket machine should have a striped jumper and a mask!!!!! Cost me more to park than the fuel to drive to Newcastle and back. Thieving *#@$!%&#!!!!

Access is a bit tricky if you don't know the area. Spaces are small. Free after 6.30pm at the moment.
Will not be going back due to the Council starting to charge Blue Badge holders from 1st of June. Will do my shopping in the Metro Center or Tesco's in future,shame.
