Story

One of London’s most established clubbing venues, Egg London, has recently undergone some major building works, turning into one of the capital’s most exciting multi-media spaces. Spread out over three floors and now incorporating a large loft space and one of London’s largest open-air terraces, the North London venue is perfect for any occasion.

Friday nights is all about the new-school, with a focus on emerging DJ talent controlling things in the basement and terrace, putting the custom-built, bespoke flipside sound system to the test. With a young, energetic and friendly crowd ready to see the next big star in the making, Friday’s always start the weekend with a bang.

Saturday sees a vast array of international DJ superstars grace the exposed brick walls, with house and techno the main agenda. The loyal crowd are treated to a who’s who of both existing and fresh talent, with names such as Laurent Garnier, Solomun, David Morales, Matthias Tanzmann, Guti, Dennis Ferrer, Nicole Moudaber, Matador, Lee Foss, Loefah, Amine Edge & Dance and Juan Atkins all to have played at the clubbing institution recently. Whatever your preference, a good time is guaranteed, and with a 10am finish, those with enough stamina can party long past the sun has come up.

What sets Egg London apart from other venues is the ability to adapt. It’s beautiful, spacious garden, exposed wooden loft and vast main rooms enable the venue to host a number of different functions; fro awards ceremonies to art shows, wedding functions to gaming conventions, the private hire facilities are excellent.

This expansive club features two dance floors, offering fantastic house and techno music. While the drinks are somewhat pricey, they align with average London prices. The club stays open until 7 AM.Food: 2/5
Went to this place for the Cube Techno event and had an amazing time! However, this is a review for the venue which I can say was very mediocre, the security guards operated super unfairly, I saw several ladies and gents forced to remove their shoes???? Not sure how they decided on who had to strip down to their socks or not. Drinks bar overpriced even more so for London standards. All of my enjoyment for this night came exclusively from the cube event djs and the joyous crowd that came to attend, everything else felt brutal.
Paid £50 for tickets for a summer house and techno event, we attended the event for about 20 minutes before realising there was nothing remotely house-related on offer on all three floors. We spoke with the manager to politely request a refund as we decided to leave, as we felt misled by the event's promotion. All three floors were exclusively Techno, contrary to what was advertised. The manager explained that if ticket sales are not as expected, certain DJs don't play, and the schedule can change. However, this was not stated on your website when purchasing the tickets - be aware of this if you are traveling a distance for an event here like us. The manager mentioned he couldn’t process a refund as we were leaving but offered tickets to a different event. However, we no longer trust that future events will be as described after this experience. No refund was given, the club itself was extremely dirty and in desperate need of a freshen up. The drinks were expensive, however, this is to be expected in London somewhat. My advice would be to avoid this club if you want to have a great night and I'm sad to be writing that about any establishment.
Due to mine and my sisters birthday we decided to come check out the egg, the event itself was featured by DVBBS which we enjoyed, the sound quality was great and the staff were polite. However the crowd was pretty much empty, lots of brown people who ruined the whole night by their lustful actions and their impulsive armpit smell, if you want a normal location spot filled with normal NICE smelling individuals do not step foot into there.
So I have recently attended a Bollywood night in this club, the crowd was really bad, I think the organisers should start adding some restrictions like who can attend the party and who cannot, The crowd was cheap . The drinks were worst and very expensive. I would not recommend going to this club alone , but surely go with a bunch of your friends but I will not be sure if that is gonna be the best choice. There are others clubs which I think are way better than egg London as they do have some restrictions, like the dress code , etc. Egg please do something
One of the poorly managed venues. Unable to organise and set up adequate ambience for the euros despite the extent notice. Poor quality, lack of drink options and bartenders smoking while preparing your drink. This place needs a better management.Service: 1/5
This is an absolute dive and should be shut down. Everything about the night was bad. Came for a dubstep gig and to start things off the music quality was shocking. Speakers and subs need replacing. One DJ didn't show up, one player terrible music off genre for 2 hours and the main act played for 1 hour instead of 1.5. drinks shockingly overpriced. Toilets need a refurb and we're probably the worst nightclub toilets I've ever used. They did have a cleaner there all night though so they did remain clean and stoked with toilet paper which was nice. Overall a very disappointing night and I won't be returning to egg anytime soon if not ever.
Not the best experience ever, not the worst. Entering the club may get you confused as there are two different venues. The staff is helpful and friendly and will give you an indication so be sure to listen carefully to not get confused. Music is ok, drinks ain't cheap. Ministry is still top.
Atmosphere was good, the DJ were amazing!! Only thing that disappointed me it was the price of a coke and vodka, it’s more expensive than the ticket itself, you might as well drink before u go inside. Other than that, it’s alright.Food: 1/5
Bought tickets to watch Euros Final here with 5 of my mates. Extremely poor organised event and after long queuing had to leave after there was no space to view it, screens too small and then after we left heard that technical difficulties had meant they weren't showing it at all! Bouncers said you could get refund, of course no reply and Egg have just happily scammed many hundreds of people out of £12, imagine if you paid VIP there as well. Evil scammers.
