Had a great few beers here. There was a small celtic band playing which added to the atmosphere. Food looked really good even tho we didn't actuality eat...... Food: 5/5
This pub was fantastic. We stumbled upon it on our way to Camden Road Station. The ambience and decor is on point. Great vibes in there and its not overly busy on a Saturday evening, which is just what we were after. Just a nice buzz in the air, friendly staff too.
The pub itself is really nice and the staff are great! Also Churchill, the pub cat, is lovely. The kitchen is closed at the moment but they're happy to have you bring outside food or delivery in. The challenge is that the drinks selection isn't good : the draft beers are Fosters or Heineken, and the wine was terrible. Such a shame because everything else about the pub is lovely!
Lovely pub with super friendly staff and a great drink selection behind the bar, also that famous Simpsons sofa mural is painted on the side!Food: 5/5

If you love old pubs then I think you will love this one, it’s located in Kentish Town not far from Camden Town overground on Royal college street. It’s a very traditional looking pub with a strong Irish background. Not only can you enjoy a pint, but apparently the food is to die for. It has a really lovely and quaint outside space at the back which is so rare in london as space is at a premium. The walls alone makes this place somewhere to visit and the countless guitars and and musical instruments hanging from the ceiling are fascinating, if you take a look at the photographs I took you will get a feel of this place. It’s got character unlike some of the new watering holes that just have plain white walls, you can stare at the many peculiar items in display and feel like you have actually gone to the pub. The range of drinks is strong and as you can imagine, you can buy a lovely pint of Guinness on draft, gin and tonic with the best tonic Schweppes. Let me know what you think when you visit.
A lovely, cosy pub. The bar team are just lovely - apart from the cat....he can be a bit rude. Great Thai food and cracking pint of Guinness.Food: 4/5
The best Thai food I've had in London. The pub itself is also quite nice, and super friendly service. Not a big beer selection, but they have a couple of ales.
Wonderful quirky decor, some great photographs/posters give you a welcoming feel. Add to that a very good beer/spirits selection and a very welcoming staff with a gracious publican, and you are in a place where socializing comes easy. What tops it off, is a Thai food menu offering great choices and so well prepared it could get the title "Royal Thai" For just a pint, a cocktail, with excellent food if you so desire, The Old Eagle is hard to beat!
