A basic railway station on the Liverpool to Manchester Railway. It would be better if they extended the Metrolink to terminate/go beyond here.

It's well-maintained and the services are usually on time. The downsides are that the service is usually only hourly and there's no access aside from steps.

Run of the mill middle of nowhere station. Nice new booking office. Friendly staff.not a lot you can say really. Good service to Victoria and Liverpool
