Eccles is a historic market town located in the City of Salford, Greater Manchester, England, known for its rich heritage and the traditional Eccles cake.nnThe town is situated 3 miles west of Salford and 4 miles west of Manchester and is famous for its well-known pastry, which is a traditional bake of currants and spices in flaky pastry.nnThe town's Parish Church of St Mary has been a significant historical landmark since the 13th century

A train stop than a proper station. No lift, need to go through stairs to street level. 300m or 5min walk from Eccles tramstop

Don't like it much at all. No loos on station, no lift got disabled, no wheelchair access. The steps up and down from station are very steep and there's alot of them.

I like this station I always get met next trip from this station, it’s close to my house so that why I like it, station pretty clean so I recommend this station who lived in Salford or Eccles

A two track train station accessed by stairs  with really not much else going on. A little cover and parking spaces on the southern side.nnBroadly it’s fine as a regular commute if you can make the hourly time slots for the short 10ish minute trip to Manchester Oxford or Piccadilly.nnIt is right next to the motorway and there’s a helpful - if slightly scary - footbridge over it. But it does make the station significantly more accessible.
