This station is outdated and scruffy. It is not accessible to people with disabilities. The law says that premises for public use have to be accessible to all disabilities. I’m visually impaired and have to try and get down stone stairs and my mum is in her 70s and has mobility issues and also finds this station terrible to use.
I commute to and from Patricroft Station every day for work and strongly recommend it.
Absolute money making station .. it is a 'fine station' so what have they done ... put the machine in a place you can't see it on arrival and out absolutely no signs whatsoever anywhere advising there is a machine or where it is. First time users of this station are getting stung left right and centre from their innocent mistakes. Shame on you northern rail
Station seating area is very dirty, pathway to platform 2 smells strongly of urine. Station does not have toilets or ticket buying facilities, no live details of train delays/train times. The station really lets down the surrounding area of patricroft.
