I locked myself out of my house and even in the early hours 6am on a Sunday, Hussain from Easy Lettings was extremely quick to get me access back into the property free of charge. Great employees, efficient and a lovely guy.
I would recommend easy lettings for anyone new to selly oak looking for housing. They were very transparent and open to explaining everything when needed. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Any issues we had in our house were reported and dealt with. Overall the friendly atmosphere and clear communication made my experience with them very good. Would recommend.
I have always rented houses through Easy Lettings when looking for accommodation as a student at UoB. All of their staff members have been very friendly and helpful through the entire process from looking for a house to moving out. Any issues when staying in accommodation managed by them were resolved in a quick and efficient manner. I strongly advise any students looking for a house around UoB to use Easy Lettings' services as they are always reliable and they will never let you down.
Do not sign contracts with these people. They will almost never follow through with anything until the end, and you will feel like you’re pulling teeth. My experience of my 6 months with dealing with “Easy” Lettings is as follows. In a summary: Appalling staff minus Annie. Everyone there bar Annie just does not know how to handle the situations given to them and drag their feet on absolutely everything. In depth review: I tried to get my deposit back after talking to the TDS about their ridiculous 8 week waiting period, which in itself was gruelling and frustrating. I especially would like to call out Sam, who was incredibly, no, inexplicably rude and utterly incompetent at listening to my concerns about the situation where I was not told my money would be held another two weeks, she said to me, verbatim: “if you would actually listen to what I’m telling you” Sam, you wouldn’t have a problem listening to my issues if you had let me talk instead of just talking over me half the time. I contacted the TDS support team and informed Easy Lettings of my decision, miraculously got my deposit back the next morning. Funny how that works isn’t it, guys? Easy Lettings is a great service if you don’t like getting anywhere with a Letting agency, and I would reccomend them to you if you like having a range cooker sat outside your house for 3 months after waiting for a new cooker for the same length of time. Mr. Hussain assured us the flea problem that was present when we moved in would be sorted, and we would be “treated as [his] own children”, yet the problem continued from June to November/December. Four individual visits from the exterminator over four months, and constantly finding dead bugs absolutely everywhere. I informed of the issues when I started renting, and the dead woodlice problem continued until I eventually had enough and moved out early back in February. Appalling behaviour, even worse customer service, an unacceptable level of miscommunication with their tradespeople and complete lack of respect for paying customers. I could go on, but I would like to be done with your incredibly mismanaged business, you call yourselves Easy Lettings, yet nothing about your Lettings seem very Easy to me. I hope this review is seen by the team and you make sure to buck your own standards for the other poor souls currently trapped in your contracts. Good riddance.
I advise everyone, especially international students, to use Easy Lettings when looking for a house. I am an international student myself and I know how difficult and daunting it is to look for accommodation in a foreign country you are not familiar with. I have been using Easy Lettings’ services for many years and any issues I have had were promptly resolved.
Been renting with easy lettings for 2 years at 221 Tiverton road and have never had any issues.The landlords were great. They helped with any issues very quickly and were very friendly. Couldn’t recommend more.
I moved into a new property recently and the service has been exceptional as they respond to emails quickly and they sort out any issues after hours ASAP. I had an issue and they responded very professionally and responded very quickly. Highly recommend
Easy lettings is the best lettings agents in the UK. My first experience with them make me to refers five different people to them and the report were all friendly. In fact one of the person said he will remain with them until when he has money for mortgage. They are too friendly for international students and can do anything to address all your concern and fix everything for you without making you goes through any stress. I will strongly recommend them for anyone that I love more and more. God Bless all the team in the Selly Oak office. Thank you for all the warm reception you gave me.
