A very nice place to visit, the rangers office had leaflets for 3 different length easy to follow walks. The information was very interesting and detailed and gave a good insight into the past at Eastham with the zoo, gardens, fair and many other things like the types of trees in the woods. The walks take you past things like the old fountains and the bear pit and the walls which once held the boating lake. Lots of areas have large spreads of bluebells in the late spring and make for great photographs. There are two pubs and a cafe on the site as well as the visitor centre with an area to view wild birds on the various feeders.

Great place for a walk with dog or quick trip with kids. Small forest section with open grass field where dogs of various sizes and breeds can play with each other. Nice coffeehouse with ice creams and quick bites. There's a pub and restaurant nearby and all these places are kids and dogs friendly. There a new pay and display car park machines, so make sure you have some change with you.

Always a pleasure going to this park. It has busy parts and quieter parts. The Mimosa Café is a great place to chill out after a good stroll around the park and dogs are welcome. The sad news is that the council now charge £. 50p an hour to use its car park now.

Good place to go for a walk, especially in spring when the bluebells are out. There's a lovely glade of beech trees, a bear pit, great views of the River Mersey and 2 pubs! Most dog walkers are great but you do get the occasional one who doesn't pay attention. Also great for trail running but can be a bit muddy in the winter, still, that's part of the fun!
