Nice station with friendly helpful staff. Sadly Owen passed away a few weeks ago. Station has covered seating area on both platforms and on the Liverpool side there is also a waiting room. Both platforms have train information displayed.

Friedly local station with regular services to Liverpool city centre even on Sundays and some glorious trees to look at in summer while waiting. Handy bicycle rack on northbound platform for commuters with ramp access - perhaps a bit of a long haul for wheelchair users although there are special handrails at the correct height together with runaway stop barriers.
