I definitely do not recommend it. My worst rental car experience. I rented an electric vehicle for a week from the website to spend time with my family, as there was a free car charging option and unlimited miles. Although I did make a reservation, checked in online, uploaded the necessary rental documents to the online check-in system, and then the check-in was approved by the company online, when I came to the branch to pick up the car, they said that the car was not available. Despite calling the branch many times to confirm my rental the day before the rental, no one answered the phone. In addition, my reservation was confirmed through the system and no one contacted me about the vehicle's unavailability. In addition, instead of the electric vehicle with free charging option at the branch, they offered an unleaded vehicle which mean I would pay for the fuel myself. When I said that this is not the same level as the campaign, why I will pay for the fuel, the man at the desk rudely stated that it is not his problem, I will cancel if I want. There was a man in the branch who was very rude, shouting loudly at the customer and had no clue about problem-solving. While I was there he canceled my reservation without confirming it. Then I called customer service to solve the problem, but they also did not offer a solution to my problem. Although customer satisfaction is very important in corporate companies, I did not come across anything about this issue in this company. They just apologized for my problem but this is not enough to for my payment one-week accommodation and spend the time. They did not offer any satisfactory options. I definitely do not recommend it. My worst rental car experience.
Avoid at all costs. Their depot is 25 min walk from Liverpool airport someone can collect you if you walk some of the way. Once you get there the extortion begins, it's extra charge after extra after extra. We booked a mid size car and when we got there we were given two options. The mid size car we booked with no fuel or a micro mini with some fuel. We obviously had to take the micro mini. We soon found out that the wipers didn't work properly which wasn't good considering it was lashing down. Easirent are changing their name to Drivalia. Probably to get rid of their bad review history. Ryanair just as bad for using this company. The girl at the desk told us we shouldn't have booked through Ryanair or paid for their insurance as we still had to pay it again with Easirent to avoid the safety deposit. We were told that "Ryanair were naughty for charging us" The car drop off is not ideal either. You drop the car off to an industrial estate that's approx 10 min drive from the airport in Manchester. Then you wait for one of their employees to drop you to the airport.
Had to walk 2 miles from airport in snow and then car wasn’t ready. Had to pay another £70 to insure as I had rented on debit not credit card. Guy on desk gave zero ***ks. Great experience. Lad who sorted out car and cleaned though, he was great.
This experience was one star until the considerate work of the associate in the car centre. We arrived at airport expecting a 5 min walk to centre when it is 25 mins. We called for the shuttle but associate was alone so had to work through other customers before collecting us from airport. Poor service to have one person completing two critical roles at the centre. We waited an hour at 10.30pm. However associate was considerate right through the process until we departed with car. 5 star associate. One star business set up.
What a shambles of a company! After turning up in the early hours of the morning with two very young children we were greeted by a very rude and intimidating man. We were told that we could not pay for the deposit on my wife's credit card as this was not in my name but the booking was. We asked if we could change the name of the booking to match my wife's card and we were told this was not possible a new booking must be made to the value of 528.00 which was almost triple the initial booking. We went online direct with the company to match this quote and it was significantly cheaper. We were told that if we booked online and not through him he would have to add extra charges on anyway to make the booking match his price as it was past 6pm in the evening and he couldnt complete a credit check? None of this misleading information was in the terms and conditions and neither could he explain any of this! It was almost as if he was on a mission to make the booking as expensive and unrealistic as he could. In the end we opted for a taxi as i was petrified to even drive a car away from this place! Would your deposit be returned? What charges would be slammed upon you on return? Please steer clear of this company!!
Great service and helpful staff. I can't fault the way my booking was handled. Was picked up within 5 minutes of calling the office and being allowed to check in early sped up the process. Would highly recommend to anyone renting from Liverpool airport
One of the worst customer service encounters, I have ever experienced. I took a taxi from my home to Liverpool Airport to fetch a rental car. On arrival, the agent at the branch whose name is Peter, asked for a proof of address. I presented a bank statement, which he took one look at and flung across the counter top after telling me that he will not accept foreign bank statements. I explained that the bank is a UK Commercial bank established in 2004 and perhaps he has never heard of it but it is very much a British bank. In a condescending tone, he still persisted and said that his company will not be accepting the statement. I even showed him on Google that the bank is a legitimate UK bank but he was unrelenting and said I could show him whatever I wanted but the statement would not be accepted. I told him that I had travelled from quite far to fetch this car, his responded by saying that he didn’t care and it didn’t make a difference as he lived in Liverpool. We eventually had to telephone a branch manager in order for Peter to accept my bank statement. I have never felt so discriminated against for a service that I am paying for. I have chosen to use Easirent above other rental companies, but after this experience, it will most certainly be my last time using Easirent and this is based on my experience with Peter from Liverpool. Individuals in customer service roles have a duty of care to treat all clients with respect regardless of their race, nationality or religion. I have never felt so humiliated. This individual is, in my opinion not an asset to your organisation or your company brand. This individual has made personal threats to me and has behaved in an appalling manner, with no apology from his end.
Excellent host! He picked us up at airport even being very busy himself. He talked us through the paperwork and showed us the car, going over any preexisting damage, and explained car controls. Great service Polite and friendly host - thank you!
I booked to pick up my car at 8 am. When I realised the office was open from 6 am ss advertised, I emailed and asked if I could pick it up at 7:15 am. I arrived at 7:15 am but the first worker didn’t turn up until 7:45 am. I rang and texted every single number that was provided to me on the booking and not one person picked up the phone Or responded to. Not even the after hours number. I was freezing outside with nobody around as my husband had dropped me off expecting that I would just walk straight into the office. I had used this same office to book a car earlier on in the week and had £1500 still pending on my credit card and then had to put another £1500 on it. When I questioned this, one of then staff started talking over the top of me. Very rude. I wouldn’t book through these guys again. Misleading advertising of hours and poor Customer Service
Very happy with the rental, no frills but great value. Phil picked us up at airport and brought us to depot. He returned us at the end of the rental. Phil was great - really friendly and welcoming. Car was perfect, fresh and clean.
