Great gym with a good range of weights and equipment. The PT, Tristan Davis, is really knowledgeable and has helped me stay motivated to keep going to the gym. The rest of the staff are very helpful and friendly as well. Really impressed with the effort that's been put in to the atmosphere of the gym lately. Only downfall I've experienced is during the summers, the gym gets extremely hot and humid, and smells quite a bit because of this. The space is in definite need of some air-conditioning!
Was a member 5 years ago and cancelled for the 24 hour gym. However I am back here! Staff are friendly and good equipment! 2 hour free parking which is a massive bonus, good facilities and PT Tristan is amazing if you want to get a better body and start eating better! Free classes and just overall a nice atmosphere for a gym as they can be quite intimidating for a female who has no clue on what to do! Definitely reccomend.
Really good gym, been going for a year now and just about the right level of busy you would want with lots of machines! I have PT sessions with Ed, absolutely great sessions and really drives me to improve and seeing some real changes. Seem to have also sorted the air conditioning and heating issue they had a few months ago so hops this keeps up!
This is a very friendly gym - both staff and members. The gym caters for all my requirements, with plenty of space, a wide range of equipment and free weights. I have yet to book up for a class, but there is a great selection to choose from, ranging for all abilities, and I understand they are looking to add more. I have been making good progress with their PT Matt, who is great to work with, knowledgeable and always makes the sessions fun and engaging whilst ensuring I keep focused and get the most out my time there. As someone who has not been into a gym in 20+ years, I have found Matt to be a great source of encouragement and would recommend this gym and his services to anyone!
Didnot even want to give a . As although some of the equipment in the gym are great! The management is horrible. I witnessed the main manager Edward Powell shout at one of the staff members on the gym floor in front of members. This is not what I spend my money for. I have also seen a very high turnover of staff in the space of some months, which is very worrying. I will be cancelling my membership, as I do not wish to spend my money in a place where staff are not looked after. The water in the shower is most times cold and the smell that comes from the changing room toilets absolutely appalling!
The gym is large and open, with a great view of the beach and the pier. It has a large free weights area and plenty of cardio and weights machines, including resistance machines designed for those with weaker muscles. The pool is large and clean with 2 adjoining jacuzzis. The gym also has an attached sports shop and offers discounts to members of the gym. Probably the nicest gym in the area.
I have enjoyed the time spent at the gym, but to cancel the contract you cannot email or write to them. They only accept cancellation over the phone. They do not answer the phones so I have been holding for 35 mins and counting. They also use a chargeable phone line. They need to get their act together.
I had a fantastic experience in DW fitness Aylesbury with my girlfriend, classes were energetic and fun, staff were polite on hand and helpful, all the trainers were friendly and had a lovely chat with a PT called Will who helped myself and my girlfriend with a piece of equipment we didn't know how to use correctly.
Well equipped gym but very very poor customer service. Staff don't know anything about the membership policy and terms.
Love this gym! Great staff, fabulous classes! Very clean changing rooms... Exercising is not a chore here!
