Had a fabulous stay at the Durley Dean Hotel. 6 of us went for our Christmas get together and the package was great value for money. The food was delicious and could not fault any one as every member of staff was friendly and helpful.  4 stars only for the rooms as the bathroom was a little tired looking but the main bedroom had great decor and tonnes of space.nSpecial thanks to Kate who did a fabulous job with the booking and making it an event to remember.

Bournemouth is one of those places where you come for a mini break, possibly a holiday if you live further a field. This is a great hotel. The staff again make this place a little gem.nnEverything is OK and obviously with 300 plus rooms you do expect a bit of wear and tear. It has a swimming pool steam room and sauna. The breakfast is basic but good value and reasonable quality, i.e., help yourself, but you can have as much as you want. Even the pastries are warm.nnDon't worry about the parking as there is enough down the side streets. Take the risk as there is plenty.nnOverall, it's great value for money, but the rooms leave you standing as they are all mod cons and very clean and have a wow factor compared to other hotels in the area.

Floorboards very noisy in rooms. Could hear people next door, room above, hallway.nStaff were brilliant.nBreakfast deliciousnGreat location to walk around seafront and townnLucky enough to park on side street, as hotel charges to use their carpark per night!nHad a great stay,but wouldn't stay again.

Definitely not a 4 hotel.nnBooked a compact double room which was comfortable and modern but the shower was a complete joke. There were only a couple of centimetres between our heads and the shower head and hardly any room to move in the shower. It also needed a deep clean. I actually hurt my shoulder, trying to move around. Reception was helpful and said they would move us the next morning. But at almost midnight we discovered the AC was leaking water all over our luggage. Reception again was very helpful and moved us to a different room within 20 minutes. The new room was very big and the shower more acceptable, but the room was old and tatty.nnThe pool was fine but the tiles had a lot of black dirt, again, a good deep cleaning overdue.nnI would book again but on my understanding that this is nowhere near the same standard as any other 4 I've stayed at before and the price would have to be right.

Ok hotel .Staff were nice .Reception was stressed .too much to do with one member of staff everytime we had a enquiry.  We upgraded .room was a bit noisy .disco and  screaming girls .Room was clean .stayed 3 nights and did not need room serviced. Needed coat hook and a towel hook by basin . Breakfast was great  .but dinner was not that great .Veg not cooked .No colour on the plate .items were changed on menu . Entertainment got better and better Pity there's only one lift  .
