Nice but you have to pay to get in. Oban had some fantastic walks and views which are free so I ended up going and doing that all day instead and really enjoyed myself. Lonely place with lovely people in all the shops and on the street. Took some nice shots of here from the few path is a great place.

Lovely surroundings, the house is equipped with all the 1940's mod cons. The scenery stunning. Wanted to stay here and listen to the bagpipes all day. Smashing little gift shop.

Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to find out more about the Mc Dougall Clan. Met the next Laird who was very informative and answered all of my questions. It was great to see the house with the well preserved old furniture and the magnificent views from the Castle. Well worth paying a visit.

The castle was only on view from the roadside as the main grounds are only open from April....but looked good and had a walk through the stunning ancient Dunollie woodland which has many different wild bird species, deer and red squirrels if your lucky enough to spot them....
