Great place to go if you are interested in historical skills like blacksmithing. Lots of old tools and equipment to see and touch. On Saturdays and Sundays there is usually a blacksmith present working at the forge. Children enjoy seeing him work and helping to pump the bellows. There are some crafts available but the space is very small so there isn't a huge choice. Prices are low though and the good things tend to sell quickly.

Look out for Folk concerts here too. NB the museum is open from Easter till the end of September.
