Small and visitor funded community museum on the island of Easdale. Very friendly and full of useful and interesting Information about life and work on the slate islands

No cars just wheelbarrows to carry stuff from the ferry to your home,no public toilets so be prepared, great atmosphere even on a soggy day

Seeking shelter from a passing shower, this delightful museum offered a warm and friendly welcome!  It is jammed full of local artefacts and information covering local fishing and the slate mining industry. 
A visit here is a "must see" for all visiting the area.
