Good sized free car park right outside of the store and a short walk either to Tesco or the town centre where you will find banks and the usual types of shops. Next door to another discount store. Dunelm was very well stocked and staffed on a Sunday visit with every inch crammed with goods. Over two floors with a cafe and toilets it’s disabled friendly. Cafe was good clean value for money. A lift helps to the first floor. Cafe has a brunch and lunch menu. Very helpful in the rug section and lots of selection
Had an issue with some bed linen. Called the store and spoke to Joanne. She was absolutely brilliant and resolved the problem quickly and efficiently. If all sales staff had the same attitude to solving customer issues then shopping would be a great experience.
Today I visited my local store great friendly staff except for the lady on the till, while i was waiting to be served the cashier called over next please,as i approached the till she said cash or card,I replied both one purchase was for both the other was card and in a very rude manner she said I can't do cash go to someone else.I asked who? think she thought I was psychic and she pointed to the next till to her.
Miserable staff on till, not sure if she is rude or racist towards white people but could barely be bothered to speak to the customers. Dunelm, you probably need to hire more engaging people for your shops, otherwise I might as well shop on Amazon.....
Love this cafe , had what I wanted first time visit to , it was clean and catered for children ,,the staff where very friendly,, and couldn't do enough for you , they where really helpful, they brought items over to the table when they where ready as to see you where seated comfortably ,rather than standing at the till waiting around
