Cosy, community pub. Great selection of cask and keg beers. Lots of local drink options from Bristol breweries. Lovely Guinness, the best hangover Bloody Mary’s to sort you out on a Sunday. Great playlists and super friendly staff. An absolute Bristol favourite!
A friendly pub, great range of beers and the decor has to be seen, very eclectic and interesting. There is a coffin filled with books that can be borrowed. A hidden gem that is worth finding.
Really cool pub with loads of things to do, fun atmosphere and most importantly some really nice local beers. The staff are also lovely and cheery, which helps to add to the fun!
Amazing pub. Really nice ales, lots of board games and a skittle alley. Great for chilling
Legend has it that the duke of York stands on the very spot that the opening scene of seminal cinematic masterpiece "The Pacifier" was conceived. Look out for loose guns and baby stuff or whatever I dunno I didn't see it. Vin Diesel right? Or was it that other massive unit..
A great little pub hidden away just behind mina park. Used to be my local many years ago. Full of little trinkets and such lining the walls and feels cozy whilst usually being quite bustling. Good selection of beers; including some local craft beer from arbour and wiper & true. Also has a skittles alley that when available is great to have a little game or two. Upstairs also has a pool table and a darts board.
Great local pub. Friendly atmosphere and interesting local beers. It's cosy in the winter with a real fire and lovely in the summer with a sunny back yard. Also one of few pubs still with a skittles alleys, if you're feeling energetic. Very good beers. One of very few 5* pubs in Bristol.
Local, nice, quiet, cosy, warm. Welcoming, fun , clean. Always enjoyed popping in for a quick one or a long session depending the mood or the occasion. Great little hide out due to the location for someone who is looking for extra Privacy far away from curious eyes.
Love this pub. Great selection of ales that's always o the move. Always a new beer to try. Friendly staff that are happy to help. Very cool and something interesting in every nook and cranny. Cool little private room upstairs and a pool room too. The only thing I don't get is why the sign says the Duke of Yosh. :
Haven't been here in 15 years and it's changed a lot. Don't be put off by the outside which looks a bit edgy/dingy. Inside it's a decent watering hole used by all ages and sections of the community. We were there for my son's birthday. We were allowed to use the skittle alley and bar for this and pretty much left to get on with it. The teens really enjoyed themselves. Drinks were reasonable and it was a warm place to be on a very wet Sunday afternoon.
