Dreadful service. Went to collect a parcel after the Royal Mail app sent me a collection notification. The postal worker gave up looking for it and said I should “call someone”. Who I am supposed to call remains a mystery and my parcel is presumably either lost or buried under the big, unsorted pile of mail strewn around the till area. From past experience they seem to also make up their own opening times so good luck getting service if they’ve suddenly decided to take a long lunch or a half day. Awful!
I don't recommend this post office to anyone, they are so unfriendly people and always closed before time. A few times I went there even 30min before close and told me that they don't accept any more customers and not in a friendly way!
Awful. I just went to return a parcel before I go away for the weekend and there was a sign saying the tills were closed so to go to the tills in the shop. I waited in line for about ten minutes only to be told I had to take the parcel to the post office. I explained the signs that were there and the poor person on the till just looked confused. She did try to get me help but she was there from another store. When she asked her colleague, her colleague just said ‘She has to take it to the post office’ so I again had to explain that there was no one at the one counter that was open. I specifically left time in my travel plans to return this package and googled the opening hours ahead of time. I should have had at least 45 minutes left for the post office to be open. Now I have to take my package on holiday and try to find a post office.
Great service even thought it can be very busy
Called before showing up to ask if the office was open, told yes until it’s shuts for lunch at 1-2pmwhich is also not listed on Google opening times. Showed up at 12:35 and was told it’s shut until shift change at 1pm - which I was not told when I called? Asked if they were shut for lunch afterwards and was told no - was told I could wait until the shift change was done and come back in at 1:10pm. I waited outside in the heat for 25 minutes, came back inside to be served at 1:10pm and was told they were shut for lunch until 2pm? This makes absolutely no sense! Could have saved me the wasted lunch hour and sent me home the first time I went in! Have complained about this on the post office official website.
This is a joke of a post office it never keeps to the times advertised the staff are sullen and unhelpful..no wonder the post office as a company is failing This needs to be sorted out the majority of folk using this place are elderly unable to travel to another shop….
Never open when i go, despite long opening hours being listed on Google. Staff make up their opening hours and they seem very random, and mostly closed.
Great people behind counter very friendly and helpful no hassle to help in whatever you want keep it up thanks for great service but today unfortunately closed due to staff shortage again
Misleading working hours, I woke up early on sunday, because google maps and website says that post office is opening at 9AM on Sunday, but it turned out to be closed. Management is so lazy that couldn't even update working hours on google and their website. Management doesn't care that people will come on Sunday and will waste their time. Absolutely no respect to other peoples time. Garbage post office.
Don't even bother to go there it is only open once a week Thursday
