This is my favourite Post Office in the whole of Edinburgh. And I've used nearly all of them, mainly to dispatch items I've sold on eBay. The team that works here is efficient, knowledgeable and fast. It's also very easy to park outside, which is a bonus when you're carrying lots of items. Not a glamorous part of town, but it's where my mum used to live so I'm happy to make the trip to Boswall Drive to visit her old neighborhood and to support this excellent store.
Don't bother paying extra to have your renewal passport application checked. I was assured it was fine, my photo was acceptable ect. Nearly 2 weeks later it is returned to me due to photo not acceptable. I called the postmaster and was told that the passport office often do this. So basically I paid £18 for nothing. He should have explained this! Very bad service. Shame it is the only post office in the Pilton/Boswell area.
I use this branch regularly for sending parcels. They are very helpful and knowledgeable, it's easy to park nearby and will try their best to get your mail away as quickly as possible.
