Absolutely disgusting. The one receptionist is terrible awful attitude I've told her several times about her attitude.Tonight been waiting for over 2 hours to get through when gets to position one cuts you off. Get through finally she answered call her attitude is awful. She talks to people like dirt I must get her name and get her reported. Don't know who she thinks she is
First time I've used this surgery, I was referred from my usual GP as they were short staffed. The surgery is fairly new, plenty parking and easy to get to via car. Surgery was pretty much empty when I arrived. The GP, which I believe was Dr Latunji was very good, better than average, she listened diligently to my issue and diagnosed it perfectly and advised what to do next, she also advised further more than she needed to so quite pleased with my visit. We're quick to fault Drs these days but my experience here was a good one. I hope others have an A1 experience too.
Just absolutely appalling, last week I contacted someone here. They finally answered after so long, receptionist says I need to call in a 8am. Just today I'm on hold to the surgery, literally on phone to them waiting 45 mins and I see one receptionist at ettingshall. I go to the centre and ask Why they're not answering their phone. According to the receptionist there, I needed to call at 9am and apparently I need to call bilston urban village for an appointment. This is seriously unacceptable behaviour and honestly really bad. I've been waiting 2 weeks now to book an appointment and it's urgent. This is a joke !!!
Phone line is always engaged then when you eventually get through the staff never pick up. I've been in the waiting area when other people are calling via telephone and there are 4 members of staff in reception, gossiping away and choosing not to answer the phone. Absolutely ridiculous system especially when you have to call at 8am. Waiting times to see the doctor are also usually an hour or more, yet if you are even 2 minutes late your appointment gets cancelled. Then when the doctor sees you it's for only a couple of minutes and you are shrugged away as if you're imagining your symptoms and there is ko compassion from the doctor. Really disappointed with the service here.
Is it me or are the doctors just bone idle? I used to consider GPs as being at the top of the community, but Health and Beyond a Joke and proved doctors are no better than solicitors. At least solicitors pay their secretaries properly unlike H&B. And this is noway me being critical of the the reception staff this is aimed squarely at the lazy so called doctors. When there is a tragedy, I hope Hell and Beyond get sued so badly that they are forced in to bankruptcy and we might get our surgery back. The reception staff are absolutely wonderful.
Waited weeks for an appointment. Had an appointment for today, a female doctor called and was extremely short with me. I couldn’t even get my questions out she would cut me off. I felt soo uncomfortable. I didn’t even get a chance to ask all of my questions as she just rushed me through the phone call and hung up, without asking if I needed anything else. I will have to look into finding a new gp.
I have been calling this surgery for over a week, my Dr at Penn Hospital sent a letter to them and I was told to call so I can find out the dose of medication to take. It takes me over 20 minutes to get through, then I get put on hold again, the incompetent receptionist then tells me that she'll have a look for the letter then call me straight back, that was over 2 hours ago. Still no call back. This medication is for my mental health, anxiety, depression and psychosis, if anything happens I am holding you fully responsible. I am putting in a complaint to the medical board about this surgery. They are so unprofessional and do not care about their patients.
Absolutely diabolical I have never come across such rude children as the 2 girls that are ment to be professional responsible receptionists not a bloody clue what there doin unprofessional unpleasant attitude was disgusting fyi that thing that’s ringing on the desk your ment to answer that it’s called a telephone…!!! Never been there before never want to there ever again …
Absolutely disgraceful, yeah there is a pandemic at the moment which is understandable, but takes 3 hours to answer the phone and when you do get through all appointments have gone. My dad has been in hospital 3 times now due to neglect from this place not being able to help him, He now needs monthly blood tests which the hospital has said the gp has to sign and won’t sign for them until April what a joke people will die before the doctors sort anything in this place.
EDIT: offering a better review since the practice have updated their phone lines a que the service has been far better and can actually get through. I've started seeing Dr Ian Dowell and now always request to see him. He is a fantastic doctor who gives a high standard of care. I've never felt the need to review a doctor's before, but this place is so bad I have to. I've been here less than 2 months and my experience has been shocking. For a start i can NEVER GET THROUGH on the phone. Then when i go there the staff are all chatting and gossiping whilst the phones are ringing. You could be at the reception and they'll just sit there and totally ignore you. There's only 1 receptionist who ever seems to be doing anything. I tried to cancel an appointment FOUR TIMES yet still kept receiving reminder texts because apparently the receptionists cannot even cancel an appointment. I tried to cancel it again today and 1.5 hours later of trying to call them and gave up. So i shall not attend instead. I took my 11 month old son to see Dr G Chobanyan as his lips kept turning blue and she showed little empathy or care and sent us on our way. 1 week later he was taken to new cross by ambulance and admitted for serious breathing issues. Surely lips turning blue in an infant is something to instantly be concerned about? She was not concerned. My son saw Dr Chintea yesterday who sent my son straight back to hospital. He was more more compassionate and caring and showed much more concern for my sons health. He is the only positive experience ive had there yet. I'm seriously searching for a new doctors now because this place is a badly run shambles. God help them when the CQC come knocking.
