Had the highest standard of customer service ever. Went suit shopping with my partner and brother. Sean looked after us very well, got everything sorted head to toe with all the accessories in probably less than an hour. Sean was very professional and thorough. It was the most enjoyable experience, we cannot thank Sean and the staff there enough, they really do love their job its obvious nothing was a problem, smooth and easy. I highly recommend and will definitely come back again.

It's good place to purchase three piece suits. Wedding suits and formal suits. And all other clothing items.

Amazing service by Dave, helped me find a 3-piece suit with all of the accessories. He really took the time to make sure it would be the perfect fit after the free alterations they offer. As a non-binary person with a women’s figure I felt very welcome there. Highly recommend Slater’s and their friendly staff.

Bought my wedding suit from here and would 100% recommend going here for suits for any occasion! Staff was polite and as soon as we arrived we had someone come to us to see if we needed anything. We was then assigned a guy named Steve who picked out the perfect suit first time, he got us all sized up and sent them away for alterations. We’ve just been back to try them on and the measurements are perfect I would absolutely recommend anyone to go here and il certainly be going back if I need a suit Thank you

Came here few days ago for a new suit for an upcoming wedding, although the choices there are many to choose from the staff couldn’t help find a similar colour we all wanted. Helpful enough to check if another store had them in colour and size which they did. Only issue I would say would be the staff seem a bit too eager to help you rather then let you browse yourself first to get an idea of what you want. Overall a positive experience but would say that staff give you a chance to browse the wide range of selection first before they start with nagging.

Very helpful and professional service, whether hiring or buying. Good range of stock, which takes you a bit by surprise in a good way as it is located on the first floor and it doesn't look like much from the ground floor. Well worth a visit if looking for formal wear or something on the smarter side of smart casual.

Just purchased a dinner suit for an upcoming business trip. Received amazing service from James the whole time. I’m aware he’s just recently started working with you guys and he’s only 16 but regardless he was brilliant at his job and was glad I had him to help us out. Honestly give that boy a raise he deserves it. Let him out of the rental area aswell, my man can sell the suits perfectly

If you’re looking for a fantastic suit, for an affordable price and exceptional customer service then this is the place to go! My partner needed a suit for a wedding and had been in several suit shops which were ridiculously expensive and no help from staff to help for fitting. After taking families advice we travelled to Slaters in Manchester, which I wish we had done at the beginning because you will not be disappointed!! John Singleton looked after us and he was absolutely amazing. He made sure the suit fitted perfectly and really took his time and made sure we was happy. John even went the extra effort to come outside to look at which suit we had seen in the window that we liked. We have just over a week before the wedding and was starting to panic and John put us at ease straight away. We now have a 3 piece suit, shirt, tie and handkerchief and will be buying shoes from there when we collect suit from alterations. John made the whole experience pleasurable instead of a stressful shopping trip like we had experienced before! Thank you so much John! Vicky & Reece

Friendly and incredibly helpful staff. I knew zilch about dinner suits or Black Tie attire in general. They walked me through everything patiently and it didn't break the bank.
