Great variety for all your garden needs. Lots of plants, trees and shrubs to choose from. A food hall. Gifts and toys. Clothing. A lovely cafe for breakfast. And toilets.
Dobbies garden centre, a regular place for my wife and I, always plenty of parking, good for wheelchairs and well laid out inside. There is a restaurant were you can get good food and drink. Also has wash room, toilet too. Due to the covid 19 as most places their rules and guide lines. Nice big area for plants ornament, plant pots ect, everything for your gardening needs. Normally have a good christmas display and a set evening for card holder, not sure what is happening this Christmas, we will have to see. All in all a nice well presented garden centre with i might add friendly staff at hand. Recommend a visit. Just adding cost free parking, also carry out deliveries. I'll give them 5.
The garden centre itself is lovely, a great selection of products and helpful staff. The cafe, however, is awful! It was very empty of people but there was not one table empty of dirty plates and left over food about 80% of tables in the cafe. We had to clear the table ourselves just so we could sit down. There were no knives in the cutlary stand I had to ask twice to get one, by which time my food was going cold. Even though it was about 20 minutes before the time that they stopped serving hot food I would still expect the same quality as everyone else had. Instead we were served, dry bland food clearly several hours past it's best. I would advise to avoid this cafe.
Great Garden Centre on the outskirts of Shepton Mallet. Excellent range of plants, and other gardening items. Very helpful staff, nothing is to much trouble.Great restaurant with a good range of sandwiches and choice of cooked meals.nYou won't be disappointed with a visit to Dobbies.
Great for plants, genuinely only writing the review as a cautionary tale. The cafe needs to be avoided very long queue, expensive food £8.50 for a jacket potato, very little selection, wet dirty plates, and drinks are basically like someone has discribed a drink to someone with no taste buds, staff are amazing though they actually move in slow motion! Go for the plants, shut down the cafe.
