Really welcoming staff and environment. Visiting the cafe excellent value for money. Attentive and friendly staff making you aware special offers. Special shout out to SANDY who went that extra mile to assist us and her friendly mature was infectious.nWent to the good variety bargains to be had. Friendly helpful staff.
While the selection of plants and shop offering is good, the cafe is really disappointing. The two times I visited, the crockery and cutlery was dirty and the drink was served slopped all over the edge so it was in a puddle in the saucer. A pity as the cafe could be nice.
Dying and wilted houseplants and some of the outdoor plants wilted too. Apparently only one member of staff to do all this and they were off sick. Lots of staff stocking shelves instead of watering plants. Disgusted by such neglect. Dog seating area infested with non dog owners and tables not cleared of debris left by previous customers. Depressing and over priced.
Don't go to the Cafe! I stood in line for ten minutes whilst my tea cake cooled, two members of staff actually serving and two others standing with their arms folded having a good old natter. Eventually managed to get one's attention and suggested she might like to start serving the lengthening queue. Service with a snarl. Cold tea cake. It is totally unacceptable.
So I only really want here to use the rapid chargers. Not cheap, but very fast. However, we did wander around the garden centre and it l9oks lovely
