Had a lovely Sunday brunch today. We went for mushroom and toast which was an amazing size and a halloumi bap which came with awesome chilli jam. As we were with our little one we were made to feel really welcome with high chairs available and a kids full English for maybe when he’s a little older. There was also a great range of cakes and drinks which would be lovely if you’re just popping in for a snack.nAlready planning our next visit.
It's lovely place to visit and gardens.nNew toilet areas is an improvement, rather than the outside darlek mobile toilet.nI used the new toilet, and i saw the fair haired girl staff, didn't even bother to wash her hands ! For staff who works in the kitchen and serving, should follow hygiene rules......wash hands for 20 seconds! It's a disgrace and she should be refrained from serving and being in the kitchen preparing foods, and should be retrained in hygiene?nWe'll not eat there again, not so sure about drinks? I hope she reads this and be ashamed?
What a little gem of a place. Never been here before, even though we live about 11 miles away! After parking the car up free, you can head towards the small cafe, for a drink and cake, or go into the designer shops only one was open on Easter Bank Holiday Sunday, but more so after severe flooding, or pay £7.50 entrance to the gardens, which I think is a little on the expensive side, especially as the foliage and flowers weren't out yet or even get a complimentary drink. Better to go in mid Spring - Summer time. As usual, I took lots of photos. But still worth a visit.
We visited the newly opened Kilver Court café today, and it was fabulous! We were warmly welcomed by the staff and took a seat in the middle of the seating area. The menu is restricted to brunch at the moment, but we were told it is being extended once they are more established. The brunch menu caters to different tastes/dietary requirements, and we chose the full English breakfast and avocado on toast complete with feta, crispy chilli and bacon . The food was great quality, locally sourced and, above all, delicious! We only stopped by as we were in the area but we will definitely be back! Good luck to the team, we hope the café will be a great success .
