Really helpful staff at customer service desk they helped with what I went there for so was happy with the service I received from them.nThis is a big store that has multiple departments from clothing to bakery and the normal store so a really good range of products.nI found the store seemed clean and tidy with no empty packaging left about.
All the staff are exceptionally helpful and polite except, for some reason, the ones who work on Customer Service. Curt at best and argumentative at worst, and just for general purchases not refunds or anything that might ordinarily lead to an argument in customer relations. Quite bizarre.
Some of the staff are friendly and understand customer service. However most just look you up and down with contempt, or curl arms up in an ewww! Like you have the cooties if you ask something. Some of the till staff are militant and treat you like a thief. Regardless of you being paid 3 times more per hour than they are and wearing office clothes - nope - thief the store is a standard Tesco with everything you need. However Shepton Mallet is a tough place if you are cheerful and like smiling and saying hello. You'll wonder what you did to everyone's family members the way you'll be looked at if you smile at someone. Very difficult store to be on for these reasons. The petrol station only has 1 person like that, young. Hasn't ever smiled in her life. Contemptuous of everyone. However the rest of the ladies in there are friendly fun and happy with good customer service.
Worst shop ever, long queue to till because only two of many opened. All shops trying to save millions on staff even prices still high for us. They have no real competition around so do what they want
A very large tescos and car park but no coffee shop or restaurant on site...... Compared to the tescos which is smaller in Trowbridge which has all of the above..... Luckily opposite is Greg's and Aldi so you never guess where I went
