Visited this morning and witnessed the fire alarm going off. None of the staff knew what to do they all just stood there. I froze as my autistic Son froze due to the noise. There were no announcements over the tannoy to evacuate. The majority of the staff were outside evacuated with hundreds of members of the public still in the store with nobody directing them. The members of staff I stood by. Five of them stood looking at each other on the middle isle of the store. Then one man finally said well we haven’t had a warning so it’s a real one. Again, no instruction or anybody telling anybody to evacuate. One male member of staff ran at speed and pushed past members of the public creating alarm and distress and he did brush into several people whilst doing so. My partner stating he has never ever seen an evacuation like it- all the staff walked out with not one member of staff that we saw or walked past directing people. Clearly a massive training need required for Health and Safety.
Really helpful staff at customer service desk they helped with what I went there for so was happy with the service I received from them.nThis is a big store that has multiple departments from clothing to bakery and the normal store so a really good range of products.nI found the store seemed clean and tidy with no empty packaging left about.
A man named Morgan on bananas, was really helpful and friendly.nnI shop in the Shepton Mallet Tesco store, as they have a bigger range than my local 1 which is still good.nnThank u Morgan for being patient with me and understanding what I needed ;
Dreadful home delivery experience. Not the delivery drivers fault but the pickers. Substituted frozen chips with waffles and told no chips available!! Broken eggs. Short shelf life meat. Short shelf life on fish. Told by store to ring Head Office as store had no manager working that day. Im dependent on the home delivery so its disappointing when this kind of thing happens
Completely closed, I can understand due to flooding however no sign up at all to let people know, no post up online to tell people, and no one even at the door to tell people, absolutely outrageous lack of management
