I have to say that I wasn’t too sure as to which shop to go to for an engagement ring, from the lady that took me into this shop to the two people that explained everything to me to enable me to make a decision to purchase what I think is the most beautiful ring was fantastic. Credit to you. I would without a doubt recommend you. Great experience. I’m almost a diamond expert now. Just need to make sure my perfect lady says yes. Went to this establishment on the 24/6/24, Raj himself is a gem of a geezer, very transparent and knowing his been in the trade 40+ years, knows his stuff. Looked after us very well, advised us excellently, not just there to make money but advised on the less expensive option be better for us. where most places would recommend the most expensive. Thank you Raj for you friendly manner and making it easy to place the order. Blessings
I cannot express enough how fantastic Diamond Dealer Direct have been throughout my entire experience with them. I had lost a stone in my engagement ring and had great communication with Gavin about this. I went to the shop to drop off all 3 of my rings for repair & a clean & polish. Gavin who was clearly very knowledgeable, talked me through the whole process and was really friendly and chatty My rings arrived back with me within the week by special delivery, beautifully presented in a lovely jewellery box. When I saw them they looked like new & it felt like I had seen them for the first time all over again. They asked me to call them to let them know I had received my package safely. I was extremely worried about having my rings posted back to me but I needn't have worried at all. Exceptional customer service, a genuine interest in their customers & great communication via email, phone and in-person A very special thank you to Gavin for all his help. Amazing Company to buy your jewellery from.
I could not ask for a better service then what we received. We had limited knowledge about the market but Raj advised us extremely well, with no hard sale or any pressure. We visited a vast majority of the stores to do our own research and browse the many different styles but went back to Raj for the final design. We walked out so happy with what we agreed. We felt educated and have 100% confident in the process. Our ring is now being made and I can't wait to see the result. Everyone needs to visit this store when looking for jewellery. We will be using them again and again now.
Gavin was fantastic from start to finish. He went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with the final design. He could see I was set on an emerald and made the effort to source some really beautiful emeralds for me. There were no pushy sales tactics. With this company. At all times, they made me feel really welcome and valued. Along with educating you on how to care for the ring, they must go through it hundreds of times per week, explaining the 4Cs but still took the time to explain to me. Hopefully, you can see how beautifully they crafted the engagement ring!
Would not recommend - go to Mitchel & Co instead! Spoke to Raj about engagement rings, who said we need to come back with what we like and a quote of what other people are charging for the ring. - but he would not write down what he was offering himself which is hypocritical. Furthermore, i showed him a ring on my phone and he started swiping on it!!! How rude!!! He wanted to find out what shop it was so he could charge similar prices to them!! DO NOT GO HERE!!
We went to a jewellers a few doors away from Diamond Dealer Direct. Asked to see white gold rings, once we entered the premises. We were told they don't sell white gold, but we could look at platinum rings. The tone and manner in which we were spoken to put us off looking at anything in this shop. They weren't helpful and we left. We walked a few doors down and looked in Diamond Dealer Direct's window. Then a man beside us said "hello", it was Raj, he asked us if we were looking for anything in particular. We asked for white gold. He explained that white gold was more expensive than platinum because the price of gold has increased. He said we would be able to find a nice ring in platinum. We already had a wedding band that we wanted to match to the engagement ring. We followed Raj into the shop and he sized my finger and asked if I had a style of a ring in mind. I did, but after trying a few on that soon changed, it didn't look right with the wedding band. Raj took out several rings to try, we had a budget to work to and he always said "don't look at the price, we can do something about that". I tried on several rings to match the wedding band and they all looked nice. Raj brought a diamond out and put it in a ring claw. It was very shiny, but it looked perfect and it fitted well with my wedding band. Raj managed to match the engagement ring to the band, he understood that we wanted both rings to stand out equally on my finger and they did. Raj was complimentary about the wedding band even though we brought it from a different shop. They have a very good range of rings for men and women rings, bracelets and earrings. Raj was helpful without being pushy, very knowledgeable and attentive. Raj explained the difference between lab grown and natural diamonds, their clarity how they are sized and impurities. We bought a lab grown diamond, set in a 4 clawed platinum ring, with channel set shoulders. The ring and the diamond greatly exceeded what we thought we could buy. The ring was ready for collection in less than 2 weeks. The were busy with customers when we first went in and busy upon collection of the ring, a full shop of happy customers says it all! We were both very happy with this purchase and will be going back to get the wedding band for husband not husband...soon to be husband! I have no qualms recommending Diamond Dealer Direct for a purchase. Definitely a 5 for their service, quality of diamond rings and any other item of jewellery you may wish to purchase.
Great staff who are very helpful with fantastic selection of jewellery to choose from at competitive prices. I have bought many pieces over the years and will continue to shop there.
Had an amazing experience with Raz throughout. His patience, humbleness and expertise are unparalleled. He helped me to choose my perfect ring and also went an extra mile to find the correct size matching eternity ring in stock as I was short on time. He also gave us the best quotes compared to all other diamond retailers that we visited in the jewellery quarter. DDD will definitely be my go to place for diamond shopping and Raz will be my go to person.
Fabulous customer service - Raj was absolutely brilliant. Listened to what was required and certainly delivered. Fiancée loves her diamond engagement ring.
