The worst company I have ever dealt with. Ordered my sofa in July and was told I would wait up to 6 weeks, 21 weeks later I still have no sofa. They keep giving new dates and ‘promising’ the sofa will arrive and then pushing it further and further back. Takes 20 minutes to get through to anybody on the phone and you never receive a call back. No updates are given unless you chase them, the customer services is absolutely shocking. Really wish I’d have listened to other people when they warned me about this shambles of a company. Stay well clear.
Just go elsewhere honestly. Asked to buy a table, they said 10 weeks. I kindly declined, then sales assistant went to manager. Manager claimed it will be here in two weeks time. So I bought it. 2 weeks later, no sign. 10 weeks later still not here. Manager trying to push sales.
I will never use this company again. I bought a sofa in May 2022 and had received exceptional customer service. It was delivered in August but the full cable for the recliner was missing. My husband contacted customer services to let them know that we had a missing part, they said we would get a call back to arrange a delivery. We did not receive any call back and received only one piece of the missing cable a week later. After countless number of phonecalls and false promises that they are escalating our case and that someone will call us back within 48 hours to arrange a delivery for the correct part, we are still waiting. I have sent emails but to no avail. I eventually went into the store in October where the manager pulled out a lead from a sofa on display and handed it over to me. I refused to accept the offer and asked him to arrange a collection for our sofa. We have been paying for a product that we haven't fully received which I feel is very unfair. If it was as simple as going into the store and picking up a cable I would have happily done this if I was informed but to keep me waiting 2 months was unacceptable. The manager rang me on the Monday after my visit to arrange a collection, I asked him to call me back the next day and I am still waiting three weeks later. I have spoken to customer services who again promised that they would escalate the situation and that I would get a call back within 48 hours, it has been 10 day's now and still no luck. I have never come across such poor customer service and will never use this company again. I am unable to cancel my payments because the credit company needs dfs to authorise it until I receive thhe full product, they haven't done this either.
Had the wrong colour delivered despite it being very clear on the order. Customer service shocking, every tike I chase up I am told I will get a call in 24hrs, then 48hrs then 72hrs. 2 weeks and still waiting to get any call at all, might just cancel my payments, sure they will call me then.
Got a new sofa in april came out to repair in May, faulty cushions which I am still waiting for repair after 20 weeks customer service disgusting. Not helpful at all told so many lies its untrue. I would rethink purchasing a sofa from dfs....go elsewhere
Worst company to buy a sofa. My delivery was not complete. I have my unfinished living room and I've been waiting for a month and they still don't tell me anything about the other sofa or send me any email. Definitely the worst option I could choose
Fab staff, great customer service allowing time alone to get a feel for sofas and look at options, staff available for questions and support as and when required, no pouncing on you as in some other large furniture stores
Waited in all morning for delivery to come after waiting 3mths for delivery of our chair only for van driver to turn up & say it wasn't on the van. He called through to whoever & they said it was because WE had cancelled it!! What an absolute joke! Said I would get a call back from management that day to rearrange but guess what? No call came either. Rang the customer service number several times for each person I spoke to tell me something different. This service is a joke. Asked customer service to rebook in the delivery & was told they couldn't because it was still showing out for delivery so how come we had apparently cancelled it then??
Avoid…avoid…avoid!!! Poor customer service. Still unable to give me an answer as to when il have the sofas. I will be trying to get the money i paid for the sofas back asap. Absolute jokers.
Big shout out to Daniel from the Birstall branch. After much consideration we made two orders on separate occasions, both times Daniel talked us through our choices and answered all our queries with professionalism. Nothing was too much. Our first order arrived on time as planned and our second order will be with us in October. Many thanks to a great team.
