Went for the cheap and cheerful before 5pm special, which for the money £7.95  is pretty good, starter, pizza or pasta and ice-cream or coffee. I opted for the potato skins and pepperoni pizza, both of which are pretty good, no complaints. Had the filter coffee after and it's really just doesn't taste very nice.  Kid-friendliness: Waiters all make a fuss of the kids.  Parking: Large carpark just outside for manor walks and Vue, so is busy at times.  Wheelchair accessibility: Easy wheel chair access.

First time visiting here although members of our group had been before. We went on a Thursday night as we were celebrating a birthday. The staff were lovely but although we booked and were on time there was a little wait for our table which we found out when we had already passed the bar and seating area so we just loitered at the top of the stairs for a few minutes. The choice of food was incredible, so much pizza, pasta, chicken, salad etc. I had the meatballs but asked for a smaller portion and it was perfect, 2 really good sized meatballs and plenty of parmesan! The only thing I was disappointed about was they had ran out of 3 or 4 of the puddings which for a Thursday was a little odd to me. All in all a good meal and would definitely recommend going for a celebration

We visited on a Friday tea time when there were a few birthday parties, so it was very busy,but it added to the atmosphere!! We waited a short time to get seated and served,but once we placed food order it arrived quickly, and was delicious. Staff were great, always smiling and busy at work.

The food had been excellent every time we've been, and the Sunday carvery has to be the best around. The staff are always friendly and welcoming.  * The live singers are a must-see. Always enjoyed a night out at sambuccas. The atmosphere is amazing, and the staff never fail to make your night a brilliant one.  Vegetarian options: There is plenty of selection for vegetarians.  Kid-friendliness: Kids have always been made to feel welcome.  Parking: Disabled parking and plenty of parking space.  Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible by wheelchair.  Dietary restrictions: Cater to all dietary requirements.

Lovely food and great selection on the menu. Only downside was the food was quite salty. We had previously booked a table and we were directed to one at the back of the restaurant. As I was on crutches it would have been better if they could have moved us nearer the exit, as there were plenty of empty tables. Overall a great night though and would recommend

We always enjoy a meal here. Visited with our 6 year old daughter over the Christmas period. Friendly staff, lively environment and reasonably priced food. Prompt, efficient service with a smile.  Kid-friendliness: Staff were great with our daughter. She had a great time

Really nice carvery. The roast potatoes were delicious. Big Yorkshire plenty of vegetables. Would be 5 stars if music was not so loud to have a conversation on a large table

Absolutely awful night here. Couldn't wait to leave. The food was nice as you expect from this chain, but the atmosphere inside just wasn't for me. We were celebrating my nephews 16th birthday and couldn't hear each other due to the loud music. The lighting was constantly being adjusted, dark then bright then dark which made reading a black with white texted menus near impossible to read without the assistance on light from phone torches. Then came the live singer. They were trying to get the atmosphere going by encouraging other guests to sing, which made me feel I was in an episode of Benidorm. Over all there were lots of people enjoying them selves which is always good to see. I saw nothing wrong or terrible with the place, I just felt the atmosphere along with the live singer, dancing servers, dark lighting and "party" atmosphere just wasn't what I wanted or expected

Good 3 course lunch deal. Pizzas are really nice. Only option of ice cream of coffee for dessert though. Was quite dark and the music pretty loud for 3 in the afternoon.Food: 5/5

We come here regularly and always spend over £100 by the time starters, main, deserts and drinks are factored in but its well worth it. Its clean, quick, the staff are friendly, always have a chat and laugh and more than happy to tip them a tenner plus for service. Recently tried thier carvery.. it is AWESOME.. would highly recommend and to be honest the toby could do with paying a visit, they might learn a thing or two. Its always busy so i would advise booking a table but well worth it, i know people think urgh sambucas but ive been to the gosforth branch and the westmoor branch, its the staff and atmosphere that set this place apart from the others. Always leave satisfied with full stomachs and my kids dont leave a thing which any parent will know, fussy kids always have a reason to not eat something.
