What an outstanding day out! A fascinating tour of a beautifully restored building in breathtaking grounds. Lots to see, lots to learn, lots to do. I really love that everything can be touched, sat in, played, read. Oh, and the cafe is 5 star 🌟 too!

Good restoration of a lovely building, with lots of activities for children. You can touch almost everything, so stress-free for parents. A rabbit warren of rooms to explore. Many are currently quite sparse, but I imagine that displays will be added to over time. Lots of woods and gardens to explore on a nice day. Café shuts at 4pm.

A pleasant tour of the building. The 'Cream Tea' could have been better and more imaginative (teapots rather than an urn?) slightly bigger cups? Christiaan

Beautiful surroundings. Beautiful building. Shame about the cafe staff and management. Staff with painted nail extensions and half hearted attempted to put hair up. Other staff member no attempt to puthair up and when delivering beverages removed a hair from saucer. Not good experience. Will not patronise again.

Lovely venue and staff, I had the veggie breakfast which was good. Maybe a little more choice but overall a lovely spot
